Skyline Trail
It's an adventurous trail. We started from P7 and looped trail 6. It's a stretch of 5.8 kms. Make sure you have the bug spray. If you don't like to use bug spray on you, make sure to keep moving your hands :). Also, make sure to have proper shoes as it's not super flat trail and if rained, it's better to have waterproof shoes with firm grip. Overall, moderate level hiking trail.

Skyline Trail
Aptly named, the Skyline Trail is very steep with an elevation gain of 100 metres. There are several lookouts over the Ottawa Valley on this trail. It is the first trail developed after the Gatineau Park was created in 1938. Great for hiking and cross country skiing. Although bicycles are not allowed on the trail you will need to keep a lookout for some 'lost' mountain bikers.

Skyline Trail
Parked in lot 7 and hiked up the well marked trail 30 to trail 6 which is skyline. This is a level 3 trail as there are some considerable up and down sections and many rocky and rooty sections on trail 6, but two people wide in most places and a pleasure to walk

Skyline Trail
Relatively quick and easy, about a 5km hike, takes us on avg about 45 mins. There are hills and a look out, dogs tend to be leashed. It's popular enough that you're bound to see other hikers on this trail, it's well traversed.

Skyline Trail
Visited this trail during the winter months. Overall, a pretty easy hike with rewarding views of the city, but the trail leading up to Skyline can only be used by cross country skiers, therefore, you have to make our own trail up through the woods.

Skyline Trail
I went in early November and, amazingly, there was no snow.We are NOT hikers, but the trail was easy enough for myself, my wife, a 6 year old girl, and an 8 year old girl.I loved the view, but, honestly, the girls didn't appreciate it much. Personally, I would go back again. It's a lovely trail with just the right amount up of up and downs.

Skyline Trail
Take Trail 30 about 1km north from P7 and you'll find skyline trail. Once on the trail, there isn't much elevation change, but some difficulty comes from the uneven terrain. Many parts of the trail were muddy, it could be more washed out in wetter weather. There was one bench at the Skyline Lookout. This is a non-biking trail. Strollers/wagons are not recommended.

Skyline Trail
A nice trail with one particularly great lookout of Ottawa/Gatineau. Overall though, I think King Mountain provides more lookouts (which are just as nice) for less walking. This trail is less known though, so there are far less people.

Skyline Trail
Great trail with excellent views. It's rated as a difficult trail, but if you have no major physical restrictions, it's pretty easy going :-)
