The NB liquor monopoly should end. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. Out West I could buy anything they sell for at least 30 % of the price here. The staff is nice depending. They actually had me open my book bag at the cash as I was paying for a bottle of something. I just went with it, knowing the young man was likely following orders. Of course I could have been a Ken about it, but I showed everything I had which was art supplies and notebooks.

It was the busiest day of the year but there were no lines and everyone was super friendly. Prices were so much lower than in NS so that’s always a bonus.

the lack of variety just makes me so sad. only 1 lambrusco, 1 mezcal, 1 type of bitters, hardly a natural wine..

Great liquor store! Huge selection! They have a wine tasting dispenser, a growler fill up station, and on the weekends they mix drinks you can sample. It is a nice and clean store with knowledgeable staff. This is where I usually go to get my drinks.
