This shop is wonderful.the staff was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Apart from buying a wonderful camera, I really have learnt something about photography from the staff. Also, the staff treat you as a friend,they don't rush to advertise something to you, instead, they let consumers make their own choices by Letting you try the cameras by themselves.definitely the best camera shop in Montreal.

Fantastic and speedy service with an online order I placed for a camera. Website was super easy to use and the camera was exactly as described. Awesome experience at Camtec Photo. Staff very friendly and informative. I was able to hold / test the camera and lens to get hands on feel before making decision to buy EOS R7. Lots of good products, but I won’t be returning. The man at the counter insulted me to my face even though I was just trying to buy some film and barely said a word, it was really out of left field. Was a strange experience so I’ll be going to one of the other many photography stores that I’ve visited with successful and neutral-to-good interactions.

In a world of online instant-service- stores, this place is refreshing in its personal attitude towards people, and the great communication that facilitates wonderful service. I was waiting for a new camera that Canon released to use for a specific trip (with unknown supply date due to supply chain issues), the moment the camera arrived, Lea immediately called me and kept it for me until I arrived to pick it up. Today I got my new Canon R10 :-) . Thank you.

What a wonderful place! I bought a camera and some accessories. The owner and his assistant, were very patient and explaining my options and gave me 10% off on part of my purchase. I needed a card reader, and they didn’t have it in stock, but the assistant was so kind and actually went to their sister store by foot to pick it up and bring it back. Old school service that you just don’t see anymore today. Pretty amazing!

Hey all, I bought my first camera Sony A7 III from here. Great collection of accessories. People are very knowledgeable and helpful. Really appreciate the overall experience we got. We even got a 64GB SD card and a sony microphone free with the camera. Would recommend every enthusiast to vist the shop.

sometimes buying a new camera can be a bit stressful, however, when walking into camtec photo, the people were so friendly, it put the mind at ease. i'm very happy with the camera. the store was well stocked with everything needed. the layout of the store was spacious and pleasant. i recommend the store to anyone looking for a camera or photo equipment
