It is a river shore. Very Calm. Just go in the evening sit there. Watch the waves of the water and last Sunrays of high rise buildings of ottawa on the other shore of the river.

Nice views of the river offering a rare glimpse of the rear of the old paper mill and hydro generation station.Has a bit of public art and a bike path with a few benches for enjoying the scenery and the quiet.Vigilance may be wise when visiting alone during summer months as the area is know to be frequented by homeless people, at least one of which camps in the woods. Though they usually keep to themselves.The actual name is Portageur Park, but Google refused to change it.
