They upgraded security for online banking, making it more difficult for me, I got locked out of my account for 2 weeks, each time I'd try and get it to work, same issue would happen, I called put on hold for 30 minutes, gave up waiting, I walked 2 miles to the bank, and just walked in, no appointment, asked at help desk if they could help me, and without any resistance, he was able to work out the issue.After all the frustration of doing self serve without any success. I was just about ready to close my account and go somewhere else.(The world may be ready for all self serve, But I'm not.)

This branch never seems to have cash available for withdrawal from its Drive Thru ATM- and if you're not there during opening hours you can forget about getting into the indoor machines. Save yourself some time and head to a different location.

Overcharging accounts with no apparent reason, staff with little idea of what's going on, outdated systems (which the staff blames for their mistakes) untrained and ill-informed 'advisors', wrong instructions which almost cost me a fortune - the list of bitter experiences with this one goes on . Better to stay away, as I'm sure a big behemoth like this won't even bother to improve their service based on reviews.

Giving this place a one star review is too much. Worst bank on the face of the planet. Do not deal with them. They have horrible customer service, don't return calls, book apts and have no idea why you are there when you arrive, don't sign proper paper work and make up stories to cover themselves. Run away. Do not get anywhere close to this joke of a bank. Horrible!

One of the worst Scotiabanks in Durham, if you need to use the atm anytime after 10pm good luck, the bank in it self is always closed. If you need cash on hand please do yourself a huge favour and drive to another location. I have no idea why you’d even put a bank here if you can’t use it whenever.

Been a customer hear quite a while. They have made allotof money off myself and my family and friends, that my family has brought to this branch for long term loans and mortgages. The staff in general now is ok, but some of them are definitely pencil pushers. Not really invested in customers files and or committed to customer longevity with the branch.Personally I can't wait to be done my business with the branch. As soon as my mortgage is paid off I am out of this branch. Scotia bank itself is awesome and most of the staff are great. A few bad apples seems to be protected by management, try to avoid or switch from any advisor who does not care about the money you bring into the branch, especially for a mortgage and or long term loan.

I can't tell you how pleased my wife and I are over the service and friendliness from the tellers at this branch. The new staff and the old staff both have a high degree of professionalism and kindness and this keeps us coming back to this branch. Thankyou Scotiabank for all your help over the years!! Great staff at this branch however I gave it a 3 stars because I wanted people to be aware their ATM is closed after 6pm on weekends. In addition, the drive thru is technically open but after 6pm you cannot withdraw cash-only make deposits or transfers. Save a trip. But in person all staff have been very helpful to me.

I had to get my student account activated and I tried calling them for an appoitment but no luck! I directly went to the bank to get the job done but I was asked to wait to get an appointment for the next day. But it was really kind of Mr. Andrew Gazarek who decided to help me and I got my account activated in no time! Really helpful people and I am happy I chose Scotiabank.I'd give it 5 stars but maybe if they start receiving calls more often.
