The Flying Pig Olympic Village
We came here for a friends catch up and had a great time and a hilarious server. Our dinner and drinks were delicious and warmed us up on a snowy Vancouver night. An evening at The Flying Pig is on the pricier side, but very worth it.

Great food, Veal Capilano was so tender with great parmesan Risotto. Lovey serving staff and well decorated place!

Great Valentine's day venue. Place was packed but that didn't slow down service any. Surf and turf would have definitely been the way to go but we only saw the serving after ordering our own plates.

Pleasantly surprised.I was looking for a place to kill some time waiting to meet with someone.I walked in without a reservation but was greeted promptly and courteously.I asked for a seat at the wood which I was taken to. My server/ bartender Emily was present but not overbearing. She checking in appropriately and was quick with suggestions.I could see that there was a large reservation coming in as they were preparing a section, and from what I could see, as the guests arrived, they seemed to be having a very similar experience though I cannot be certain as I was not part of the occasion.It’s just seemed that the team was prepared and able for the oncoming rush and I could see management seemed to be ready for the assist.

The Flying Pig Olympic Village
Visited for Brunch and loved it. The atmosphere is nice, combining lighter wood colors and a modern look. The Brioche French Toast was good. The Aspargus, Mushroom and Chèvre Frittata was very good. I'm definitely coming back for lunch and happy hour. To check out their other menu options.

The Flying Pig Olympic Village
I went to Flying Pig for a small snack and it was perfect timing as it was a weekday and happy hour. I was seated right away by Danielle. I really enjoyed my salmon cakes and the Caesar salad was served with pork belly which was really good and different. The food came out hot and delicious. The service provided by Danielle was welcoming and attentive. Her timing was perfected and really made the experience. I highly recommend that Flying Pig either give her a raise or promotion as during trying times you need to retain and recognize deserving staff. I will be back for dinner soon! A perfect 10/10.

Food was nice, surprisingly larger portion than I remember (compared to Gastown). Prix fixe I think is excellent value for lunch. The 'prime rib burger' was okay, patty was juicy, ingredients fresh. Just that the bun gets soggy real quick. It felt like one of those dinner rolls from Cobs Bread and they do not go well with moisture. Overall happy with the food.

It was easy to get a reservation a day before Father’s Day. The restaurant wasn’t full between 5-7; about 5 large groups. The service was friendly and efficient; the food came quickly; and all was nicely plated. Most food was tasty though a bit salty. Also, I don’t recommend the mac & cheese or the paella.

Tip: all-day happy hour on Mondays! The food was pretty good, I'd say mid-level, but higher-priced. Staff was friendly and casually-dressed. I was expecting something a little classier, but it's a great location to sit on W 2nd and watch traffic. The happy hour had limited drink selections, but the truffle fries and BBQ wings were good, and the small bill went down very well. Worth a visit!
