Moody Park
Moody park is an amazing park.We have gone there to play freezbe and the last time we went to take some pictures for the snow because they have excellent spots for awesome pictures. There are also place for tennis and ping pong. There is enough grass to play soccer or baseball.Besides there is an outdoor pool for the summer so the school that is close there, the kids can go swimming after taking classes.I have visited moody park and I have notice that people can sit on chairs, or there are swings for kids, also a basketball place. After visiting moody park we can go to Walmart to buy stuff for home or for an ice cream on dairy queen which is very close to the park.Moody park has place for dogs so you can unleash your dog on a safe area for him to be free.I love moody park because has many different options to hang out with family or friends or photoshooting. It has also place for parking if you plan to come from another place that is far away.If you take the bus make sure to end up in 7th or 6th avenue which are the ones that leave you in moody park.

This is the main park near the core of uptown New Westminster. It’s a beautiful park with a pool, playground, picnic tables and plenty of grassy areas to enjoy. The reason I’m giving it only 1 star is the volume of garbage everywhere on the grass. Cigarette butts, pieces of paper, plastic, cans, just filth in general. Not sure the city ever does any annual clean-ups here but it doesn’t look like it. We’d certainly love to come by more often just can’t avoid looking at the junk while enjoying the scenery.

The idea for Moody Square and its park came about in the early 1860s and soon developed into a recreational area with its first game field constructed in the early 1890's.The park progressed quickly with its first playground in 1922

New permanent exercise hand bike, monkey bars, etc, between the swimming pool and playground. Next to the fields.Dog park has a fence within a fence, I suppose to allow owners options of their dog socializing or separating smaller dogs from larger dogs. Or maybe dog training classes?

This is honestly a great place to go to spend an entire day with friends and family. It is awesome for having a picnic with your partner, doing exercise, give your pet a walk take your kids or just have some fresh air for yourself. There's this area which has an outdoor pool which is very small but amazing for the summer time. The place has lifeguards and some aquafit classes which are so fun, I've tried some and it makes you feel so energetic at the end of the day. You can register online for this or you can walk by and ask for a membership pass. The park is always nice and clean and there's a playground for kids, an entire space to have your pets without a leash and another area where the kids go and play football, they even do games in there. And during the winter time, it is a great spot to take pictures, lots and lots of them, especially around the clock. That's what my sister and I did a couple of days ago when the city had so much snow. The area will be always clean, so, I'll give 5/5 stars because everyone tries to keep the park clean.Thumbs up!

We were excited to check out this park but ended up being disappointed. The park and spray park are pretty small with not much to do. No slides or swings. Nowhere really to sit and have a picnic. Many homeless in the park plus people smoking cigarettes & marijuana, which was unpleasant to smell. We went to the pool and there wasn’t much to it. No slide, diving board, and the water was freezing!! Everyone like cooling off in a pool on a hot summer’s day but it was so cold that it was painful! I honestly couldn’t wait to get out but made the best of it for the kids.I’m sure that this park is nice for locals as it’s a bit of an oasis in the middle of a busy City. However, it’s not worth travelling to from another City.

It’s large park in the middle of New Westminster. Lots of paths to walk. There is an outdoor pool, which is popular.Lots of space to run and play. There is also a playground for the younger kids. There is also a dog park.Drinking is allowed in a designated area on the south side of the park. The City has placed a few picnic tables here.
