I highly recommend custom edge and in particular their skate profiling service. It is amazing the difference it made for my skates. I will be trusting this place with my skates from now on.

The hours never seem to reflect when they are open and the skate job is generally bad. They even cut my goalie skates as player skates and ruined the edge on them. I do not recommend them at all.Edit: the owner called me within several minutes of the poor review i gave and offered to help me with some of the issues I eas2 having. Will update this in the next few sharpenings to see how this goes. Very impressed by the quick response.

They are the only store that I get to do my skates. Absolutely will not trust anyone else with my skates. Recently had the quad profile done and I found it helped with my agility. Would recommend these guys over anyone.

I have a pair of Graf’s that the blades were nearly non-existent on. I had tried for just over a year to find a replacement set of blades. Had been to “Play It Again” three times and talked to the owner twice. Each time he said he would call me back because their rep was coming in. That was a year ago. Tried SportsCraft and got no further, among other department stores as well.I had my skates sharpened at “Custom Edge” and one of the guys said, “here’s a card to contact our owner. You need new blades, and our owner will get them for you.” Emailed, and received an answer within 1 minute. He asked my blade holder size, and he said “I’ll have them in a week.” Then he realized he had a pair actually in his shop.Other stores turned me away or didn’t return calls, “Custom Edge” had blades for me in 7 minutes, literally. Had them installed and sharpened on the same night. 5 stars, no question!Cheers!

Had my skates profiled and sharpened by these guys and all I can say is wow. What a difference in my edges. I have much more confidence in my edges now after visiting these guys. I won't go anywhere else, and they are very hopeful and knowledgeable as well. They take the time and explain things to you. Keep up the great work!

I have been taking my sons skates to Custom Edge since they first opened in Paradise. The service has always been fantastic, they certainly go above and beyond! If you are a customer you know what I mean. Their knowledge with skate sharpening and profiling is outstanding and I love when they follow up to ensure the new profile is working out! That’s why I purchase the annual sharpening card and only trust Custom Edge! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I drove from the east end of the Avalon to get a pair of figure skates sharpened. I was worried about finding someone that could do a good on the skates. I left relieved that the person sharpening the skates knew more about the blades then me. These guys have great service, lots of knowledge and a quick turn around time. What more could you ask for?
