Familiar Landscaping is a gardening and landscaping company headed by Josh, whom we’ve known for several years. Josh is not only highly qualified and knowledgeable about horticulture, he is also a kind, patient, creative and all around beautiful person - which is exactly what you want in your gardener.At our house, we look forward to his visits, in fact, we plan around them! Walking through our small garden, with coffee in hand, breathing in the sweet lavender scent and contemplating what to do with the Russian Sage as it shoots away, makes for a wonderful summer morning. When it comes to deciding whether to cut back the hydrangeas in the autumn, and where to plant the alliums and tulip bulbs for the next season he’s always ready to offer thoughtful suggestions.We can’t recommend him enough! You will not be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Josh enough. More than 5 stars! I had turf that was being melted by a glass patio reflection, I called Josh to talk about removing the grass and putting in paving stones. Josh was friendly, on time and very knowledgeable. The project was done in a few days and has exceeded expectations. I am so happy with Josh and his work that I will be using him for landscaping maintenance as well! lol Highly recommend Familiar landscape!

Josh did a great job for my front yard. He is clearly very knowledgeable and has great vision - a keen eye for curb appeal! I’m looking forward to working with him on my back yard project next spring!

We have been using Josh for many years now. He has installed drip lines, built a custom flower bed, and has provided regular maintenance of our lawn and garden for many years. He is extremely knowledgeable given his formal training in horticulture and he truly has a natural ability when it comes to garden design.
