Walked northbound from Rutherford to Major Mackenzie on the main trail, it was pretty boring. Took some small trails off the main trail on the way back, it was much better. Next time, will try the trails on the east side of the river.

The trail in Boyd North leads from South to North. It's not a circular trail, so you'll have to walk back. One way from Rutherford to Major Mackenzie is about 2.5 km climbing and descending the hills. Has an average difficulty and definitely not suitable for people in wheelchairs. There are no washrooms in the park. Not too much forest, but overall a nice park. Rated 4 for it's parking lot. Boyd North Parking Lot is very small and usually full during weekends or holidays.

Boyd is a nice park and trail system. You can walk as far north as the McMichael Gallery. There are a few entrances, you don't have to use the main one to get in. It's worth a visit if you want to go for a lovely nature walk. There are some gorgeous views.

Very nice trail. This place seems to be popular as the trail is well beaten. We came across some people, even though we hiked on a Friday morning before forecasted snowfall. Lots of tracks of snow shoes in some areas. Spikey shoe attachments are highly recommended as the majority of the trail is icy.The parking lot on south end is closed, so you're leaving the car at the entrance at your own risk.

Easy trail, not much to see. The bridge north of Major Mackenzie is out.

One of the best trails for mountain biking in North York and Vaughan. Lots of single tracks with good labeling. Beautiful Fall colours!
