If I could provide a 0 rating I would. I have been a long standing customer of Best buy - this will be my last time shopping with them. Purchased a printer 10 months ago - have experienced nothing but issues from day 1 but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Contacted Best buy - big run around and failed trouble shooting from Geek Squad. Was directed to Epson to resolve - troubleshooted with them (2 hrs) only to find out the printer is defective (hardware) so it has to be returned to Epson - a Refurbished model ( I requested a new one) not an option - they will be send the refurbished - 7-10 days - which means 15+ days.... options available were not acceptable.... requested to speak to a Supervisor- total waste of time - same options given.I decided to ask where she is located - in the Philippines- call center.. she mentioned further delays due to clearance at the border????... ie 2 more additional days- what border crossing?... my expectations is it is coming from a warehouse in Canada... not the case.. entire ordeal was totally disconcerting...

Was sent the wrong product on April 29, 2023 by delivery truck. It is 8 days later, & despite online chat, telephone, a bizarre requirement to provide photographic proof of the wrong item, labels and invoice (which they had access to themselves), & many emails (1.5 hours+ of my unpaid time), staff are unable to perform 2 simple tasks: send a return label for the delivery truck to come & get the item & send out the correct product. They are stuck in an investigation" that could take up to 15 days. This is why Best Buy loses clients to Amazon

I purchased an espresso machine for $959 on Dec.22/22. The machine didn’t show up on its expected delivery date of Jan.3/23. I had to have them start an “Investigation” into why the machine hasn’t shown up yet.Weeks go by and it’s now Jan.26/23. I’ve talked to them 4 times in the month it hasn’t been shipped. Been told to wait another two days. Then another two to five days. Over a month since the purchase date. I received an email from them today (Jan.26/23) saying they’ve refunded my purchase. No explanation as to why. I call them and they say the machine has vanished, not sure where it went.I then had to re purchase the machine today (Jan.26/23) and reach out to them once again for this. I wouldn’t have if the Boxing Day deal wasn’t over.No wonder why they are shutting down 15 locations and laying off 700 workers. A management capitalist failure, which makes 700 workers lose their jobs. Way to go Best Buy.This is my last purchase from your company after being a customer for 30+ years, since you were Future Shop.

Can I give less than one star? Best Buy is refusing to honor the Quebec electronics legal warranty on a computer purchased from them in December 2021. The store in Lasalle was beyond rude and uncaring, telling my son to get a lawyer!! Best Buy even has a snippet of the legal warranty on their site. They refused to read it, or the legal warranty on the Quebec website. Never, ever do business with Best Buy. NEVER. He has now been waiting for a call back from one of the stores (since Saturday), to see if another store will take his computer... WHY is it up to the individual store to make this decision? IT IS THE LAW. Is Best Buy above the law? Zero customer service. Disgusting treatment. My son spent 2000$ on this computer. Don't buy from Best Buy. Ever.

I am an 80 year old disabled woman with a 91 year old disabled husband who cannot be left alone. There is a charge on my VISA for the geek squad for over $22, and a second charge for $4. I have no idea what these charges are for. I called Best Buy customer service and was told the charges are for a subscription that I don’t remember signing for. I ask that it be cancelled and was told that there is a $200 to cancel. I tried to get the call escalated and the request was refused three times. I was told to go to the store, something I simply can’t do. Is Best Buy so desperate for money that they have to take my $22 a month? I’ve shopped with you for years, but will never ever walk into another one of your stores.

Ordered a TV online. Got an email that said it would come Friday. Took the day off. On Thursday night I get a call that the TV is coming Sat. Lost one days of work. Saturday it came. It's the wrong TV. Call for help. Beatbuy can't get hold of the carriers. Supposed to call me back never did. Called back Sunday and the notes they put on my file. But no one knows what's going on. Best buy says the carrier would call me for a swap. Apparently another person got my TV. I got theirs. My question was why would I swap the TV. I bought a brand new TV from you. I want a brand new TV. I call best buy and they same the same thing about the swap. Wow. I had to demand to get a new TV. Supposed to get a call on Tuesday. Never do. I call. I demand some sort of compensation. They say the carriers take care of the delivery fee. Why am I the customer calling best buy so much and now the carriers. Other company's one call and take care of everything for you. Called last night. Supposed to get an email back. Never do. Called today. No one knows anything about my case. It went to HQ. But haven't heard anything. So I got a refund today. Still have someone else TV in my hallways. Wow. Gets service bestbuy. You guys cost me a days work. Then bring me the wrong TV. Have to waste calling you and the carriers everyday and no one from HQ can call me to figure this out. Thanks for nothing

Long review, but here it is. I purchased a washer dryer combo from the Cambridge location summer of 2021. The day it was delivered to my home the people delivering it dropped my dryer on its side. Not a huge issue, but there was a dent and as soon as we turned it on the noise it made was terrible. My husband immediately contacted the best buy customer service and was told this was an issue for the warranty and he needed to contact the manufacturer. He contacted LG and began the process of getting repairs. The problem is, that this is not actually a warranty issue, as it was within the first 30 days of purchase. Turns out the person assisting my husband the day it was delivered made a mistake when telling him the next steps. At the time we weren't told it was still able to be returned or exchanged for a new one, we could have even refused to sign for it at delivery. We did not realize until 2 months of fighting for repairs with LG that the person who my husband first spoke to from Best Buy originally was wrong, and that this was not something for us to take care of with warranty, but was actually Best Buys responsibility to replace it for us. Best Buy acknowledge that this was their mistake, however, as it has NOW been more than 30 days they were unable to give us a new dryer...even though it was completely their oversight. The reason they gave is that they did not have a new dryer they could give us, and needed permission from the manufacturer to offer us a free replacement dryer. After dozens of phone calls, and being told for 5 MONTHS that a supervisor was working on our issue (they never called us once, even after I requested them to several times) I was forced to give up on this situation when my father in law passed away, as this stress was too much to handle at the time. The end result...we have never been follow up with even once, never offered any kind of compensation for the months long delay or the damage on our dryer. I now have a dryer that is so loud and damaged I won't be surprised if I need to buy a new one within the year.Really horrible experience, and even though most people were pleasant to deal with, the lack of responsibility and accountability from Best Buy is unacceptable, lack of communication and compensation of any kind are extremely disappointing...head office was no help and I would caution anyone against purchasing a big ticket item, they will leave you holding the bag when they damage something!Having something go wrong is not the end of the world, but the sheer lack of care, empathy, responsibility and accountability are staggering. As a retail manager I am very disappointed in Best Buy at every level, good companies take responsibility for their actions and accept the consequences, not expect their clients to live with it. 5 months of calling and emailing to no avail is unacceptable. Let's see if anyone reaches out to try and make this right, will update review if that ever happens.

I’m very disappointed with this company! Brought my laptop in because the USB ports weren’t working after a windows 10 update. Got my computer back. Ports were working but they messed up the keyboard. Also all my data was downloaded to Best Buy’s computer and several of my pictures were used for fake adds. Also I canceled my geek squad subscription after a year and I was continually billed. I’ve complained to corporate office but I’ve been given the run around now for over 2 years and I’m still fighting them!Time for a class action lawsuit!If you have had similar problems contact me threw this post!I will never deal with Best Buy ever again and I will tell everyone not to shop at Best Buy! Because it’s not a Best Buy but a nightmare!

Damaged my place and my appliances when they finally delivered my appliance, huge hassles, no follow up despite calling six times and really terrible call centres that don’t communicate. Asked for three managers and never got a call back. With so many other superior options in Canada that will deliver I will likely never purchase anything from here again. Wasn’t the first time I’ve had issues either.
