There are treasures and bargains to be found. Was a Restore supporter of south Vancouver branch already, but if I were handy I would be here all the time.

Things are far to high priced for the quality, much which has some damage, is used, or new but better choices in regular stores

Like the things that they sell here, there workers here are completely rusted out, ill- tempered, dim-witted and special grade garbage that would have been better left in a city landfill. This owners and workers need to replaced asap

I would suggest that other buyers be familiar with what they’re buying. I bought a table saw (my first one ever).. mechanically the saw worked. But what I learned is that it was missing a tons of parts… the guide, etc. making the saw unusable even though it plugged in.I was not given a refund. But store credit. The manager/owner is not a bad person but he is very unsympathetic towards customers. Gives you the “I’m too busy and important to talk to you..” feeling. The thing that annoyed me the most is that the cashier told me I had 30 days to test it out because it’s electrical and I could return if there was an issue. So I bought it. What she failed to mention is that the return wasn’t for a refund but for an exchange only… bit more clarity would have helped avoid the whole situation. Now I have to find a way to spend a few hundred dollars there.

Today I was at the Burnaby (Enterprise) location. We saw a sofa we thought we’d buy. The person at the cash desk said get a cart. We did. It was a sectional and needed to be taken apart. We asked if someone could help and were rudely told no. The person basically turned their back on us and we were completely ignored. Their customer service is appalling. On the other hand, we stopped at the North Van location. Found a sofa, and people were so helpful. They helped load it and everything. Thank you North Van!

Had a VERY poor experience at this Restore location (Burnaby). Bought a BNIB kitchen sink faucet. I asked the Sales Associate to check it for me before purchasing. He opened the box, checked it over, declared it was complete/no problems. When my installer installed it, it was defective due to a rip in water hose. I tried to return it, with the receipt, and was refused a store credit. Staff weren’t interested in helping me at all; and showed no concern whatsoever for selling defective merchandise despite it being sold BNIB from their locked cabinet!

Prices are a hit or miss. Occasionally you can find great deals. Charging $1800 for a 12 year old wine cooler is a bit excessive IMO.

Great place to find second hand good quality furniture and construction materials at a discount. Should definitely be checked before buying things on Facebook Marketplace. Price tends to be more affordable and sometimes they put things on sale

I feel that the staff working here at this branch needs to get a raise or some sort of recognition from restore management or leadership. Staff like Darlene, Josie, Patrick, they are always willing to help, greets us with a friendly hello, courteous on the phone when we call asking about a specific item; I frankly think they are a star!I witnessed first hand last week how rude some customers can be to these staff. This particular case revolve around a set of keys for a cabinet, customers are not always right and should not take their anger towards staff- in this case this male customer even swore at the staff there making a scene. It’s a place for everyone to buy furnitures/ home improvement items, if you can’t find a good deal, move on!

Prices have gone wayyy up lately. This one is not too far from the other location on Douglas. I find better items at the other locations than this one. They have a sale at the end of each month it's about 30% off and right around new year's they have one for 50%
