I needed a vest made for my brother-in-law's wedding. I had two existing vests as a guide for cut & size, but I wanted the neckline cut mid way between the two.I went and bought fabric and found fabric for a second vest as well. On my first visit we discuss the cut and a few minor details that I wanted, pockets, trim, etc. Second visit was the fitting and more detail talk. Third visit I picked up the final product.The two vests that Georgina made were amazing! Very well done, the cut is perfect. The details are perfect. I couldn't be happier.Georgina is a lovely woman and a talented seamstress. Her prices were great and her work is superb.Extremely satisfied.

If you are cash only please put up a sign that says so.And for all the people who’s thinking about going here, don’t go for small fixes because Georgina might “double the price” when you are late for pick up or allegedly cost her time by talking to her at pick up, so she said.When I dropped my skirt for a fix on a small rip Georgina only took my name and number and said it’ll be ready in a week. No price was told or the method of paying.And when I returned she didn’t believe I will pay her. I wanted to pay credit and she didn’t have any machine so she told me to e transfer I asked if I can do it in my car that’s in her parking lot since I left my phone in the car. I also told her I can go grab my phone. But she just threw me the skirt and threw her business card that had email address on it away aggressively and told me to leave.She accused me of coming back to pick up the skirt without any method of paying. I told her I will pay her although I just left my phone in the car because I was paying by card. She said that’s not her problem that’s my fault. I told her she’s being very rude and she said she doesn’t care.Just for the record, I went back in and took a picture of her email address and paid for my skirt.I hope you start being kind to people regardless of their ethnicity, the value of business they bring you or anything you are being prejudiced against.

GEORGINA is an excellent problem solver for items that need repair. She recently made jean shorts out of my skinny pants that I stopped wearing.

Just got my bridesmaids dress altered by Georgina. Georgina is friendly and easy going and great at problem solving. She did an amazing job! I will be back next time I need something to be alter. Also very reasonably priced. Thank you!

I had used Georgina previously and had asked for a lower price . She was kind to lower the price.I returned with a few pants and shirt for alteration ; she had advised on the price and I asked if she could give me a lower price . She became very hysterical increasing her tone and claimed that where she is “from” asking for a lower price is offensive and threw my pants and shirts towards me .I calmly explained to her that Canada is a diverse country and if requesting for a lower price was offensive all she had to say to me was the price was fixed and she cannot go any lower in price. That would have been fine and acceptable . I can then choose to accept or look elsewhere.As a black male, in an enclosed space with a white woman becoming angry and acting in that manner was very scary. Her narrative could have been taken over mine at anytime . I was concerned for my safety and my 2year old daughter who was with me . I literally had my hands raised and stated I was going to leave.If you are a person of colour and insist on using her services pls go with someone else that can be a witness . If you have a budget and will like to negotiate the price pls do not GO . In general Stay away from this place if you can .

Georgina is amazing. She takes great pride in her work and is very personable and professional. She's done zipper replacements, hemming, curtains, mending and alterations and we have been incredibly satisfied with each of them.

Georgian is an amazing seamstress! So pleased with all of my alterations, the quality of work and professional service. The skirt she created for me was nothing but perfection.Highly recommend her to anyone!
