The deli is not fresh. Picked up an easy ready made meal yesterday to eat by the water a couple of blocks away. Bought some sushi rolls and chicken Chow mien. The rice was hard and stale, the salmon rolls were squished, and barely even a roll but didn't notice as they were under the label when I purchased. The chow mein noodles were undercooked and starchy. When I say this was the worst thing I have ever eaten .. I would not be exaggerating. It was the worst! Package said it was made the day I bought it but it tasted like it was last week's and had gone bad.What does it take to care about the food you put out?I did originally try the sushi restaurant in the same strip mall but they were so busy they were not taking any more orders. The taco place was closed and the burger place was lined up. Hunger drew me in to get something from the deli. I should have just gone hungry. If you are hungry and find yourself in save on, skip the deli.

Great store have been shopping here for years, same overall pricing compared to other grocers yet often can have crazy deals for a card price" meaning cheaper if you are in the rewards program. You collect points like others yet it's mainly used for discounted prices while everyday shopping. I'd say Walmart is overall cheaper for everything but card price purchases at saveon can get even better so keep an eye out. Would recommend if near a store and definitely recommend rewards program as it's free!"

Simon is incredibly kind. My wife is pregnant and needed cake right before the store closed. Simon was the only staff member around and he was patient and understanding and kind enough to ring us up the cake my wife was craving despite being well within his rights to tell us we'd have to come back the next day.

I don't normally shop at save on-however today my expectations were exceeded. I popped in quickly to buy an advent calendar and the whole display of individual chocolates came crashing down on me. Immediately the manager (I think) came to my rescue. Thank goodness because all I could think of was how I DID NOT want to be here putting the display back. I decided to quickly do an impulse shop and by the end I was running late. I guess it was obvious I was in a hurry and a new checkout was promptly opened up for me. Today I had a 'wow experience.' Thank you for taking the time to help me today-twice. An experience I've never had at the past in save on foods.

I was shopping at the Wilson save on foods today. One of the worker blocks the entire soup isle. I said excuse me he wouldn't even move his deck. This is around 5pm the stores quite busy. Please make sure grocery guys who are stocking shelves be alittle more courteous to customers.

Priced reasonably and a fresh produce available year round provides its local community with Amenities all year around. It’s located at main bus roads so is easily accessible as well. If you are a new comer in Victoria a visit to save on will provide you with options regarding your grocery shopping. Don’t forget to check the fliers for discounts. Happy shopping folks.
