The homemade soup was incredible! Sandwiches were also fabulous. It was only my first time there and my group was welcomed liked we were family. Make reservations as it is obviously a well loved spot to eat.

The Piano Inn and Cafe
If you're looking for a cool and quintessential small town getaway, then the Piano Inn/Cafe in Port Perry is the place to be. The food in the restaurant is fantastic (literally the best sandwich I've ever had). If you can get a room, they are all unique and very comfortable. We'll hopefully be going back in June when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the lake as well!

Very busy place. You definitely need a reservation. The food is really good! Service is also good. They were short staffed once, but the waiters did everything they could to make up for it. Sometimes, food choices actually sell out, but they put a notice (sticker) right on your menu to let you know. Lively spot. Lots of people chatting at their tables, but for enough apart, you can still have a conversation. Great drink menu, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and not overpriced. If fact, with everything going up in price, I find their food prices reasonable as well. Two of their salads come with a warm biscuit. They are very yummy. A nice touch to add to your. I am disappointed that they are closed on Sunday's, especially in the summer, when it's a great day to roam around all the shops, etc., in Port Perry. Oh well, they work very hard and deserve a day off. Closed Sunday and Monday with Tuesday to Saturday service. Friday, only, is an upscale grilled cheese day. Lots to choose from. Woo-hoo! Enjoy.

I stopped by the Piano Inn and Cafe looking to grab a quick water, and the owner very kindly gave me a bottle without asking me to pay since I only had my credit card. So great service, and a lovely little cafe as well! I will stop by for a proper coffee or meal the next time I'm in Port Perry. Thank you again!

The Piano Inn and Cafe
Beautiful spot! Spent Canada day weekend and go to enjoy the parade that came right by the inn and didn't even have to leave to see the fireworks. Beauty little town full of history and even had an episode of the amazon series Reacher shot right downstairs. Very nice reading nook.

We stayed in the Photographer suite and really enjoyed our time. We live 15 minuets south of Port Perry but this was a great get away. We have stayed at the Blue mountain village a lot and this felt like the same experience. (You are steps away from your room to all the stores and the waterfront.) The suite was perfect from the moment we walked in till we had to leave. Thank you!

What can I say - if you want to feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie go for lunch at the Piano Inn and Cafe. The quiche and homemade soup is always my go to lunch. I love it but the grilled cheese looks amazing and the wonderful desserts. It is very quaint and the staff are always friendly. I have never stayed in the rooms they rent out but I hear they are very nice.

Always love coming here for lunch with my friends the atmosphere is great the waitresses are very busy (as they should be) but they get to you as fast as they can and always with a smile.. the owner came up to our table to check on us and was very kind and funny. AND they have a great ice cream store owned by the owners son and has a great selection of Kawartha Dairy ice cream

Went for a drive with a friend today to Port Perry to check out the Piano Cafe which came highly recommended. It was well worth the drive and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! It was FANTASTIC! From start to finish we had a great time. We were greeted by Christy who made us feel like we were coming to visit family. We felt welcome from the minute we got there. We were seated quickly. I suggest making reservations as it is a busy place.I will tell you why it is so busy...the food is delicious, the service is friendly and great and the ambience is perfect. It is a happening place. We enjoyed onion soup, quinoa salad and a brie and fig sandwich. Everything was extremely delicious and portions were great! We ended our lunch with a s'mores sundae and carrot cake cheesecake. OMG! They were incredible! It is really worth the drive and we can't wait to go back!!!!
