Absolutely amazing company! Long weekend and he still took the time to call me and reassure me that my fridge would be fixed and that it wasn’t beyond repair! Absolutely recommend this company, they have repaired quite a few of our appliances, and I’ve never let us down!

They were sent by LG to repair a leak at the front of a new washer. the washer was amazing to that point, save this little problem. They did tighten to fix the leak, but also did something with the spin, stated the washer had not been installed correctly or levelled( it had and I told them this), so they levelled it substantially front to back and did something with the spin. Then, the washer failed to spin water from clothes; clothes became progressively more wet at end of wash, and sheets at $250.00 that were new for eg, were damaged in a wash! the fabric was worn on all items washed after their visit. After the second wash, I had to stop using our new LG washer. They lied to LG and stated it was the customers fault! They stated they found no defect; how ,as they refused to return to fix this error, and were quite condescending and rude on the phone to me personally. Basically, they made a mistake, and instead of being honorable and fixing it, they lied and walked away. Still battling over a month later with LG. And no washer..........unbelievable poor service from Retro, , incompetence , and quite dishonest. Stay away! Horrible experience. One can accept an error, but the company must do everything they can to make it right. Not this company.

Skylar was very professional, helpful and polite. Our refrigerator was making a terrible humming sound and he resolved the problem immediately and explained the issue. We were told a technician would arrive between 1:00 and 5:00 pm and he called one hour prior to his arrival so we didn’t have to sit at home and wait. Kyle was awesome you can tell he was trained by Paul. Professional, very knowledgeable, courteous, on time his recommendations were very welcomed. I can't say enough good about my experience with Retro Appliances. It can be a little costly but they are honest and that is worth it. Thank you so much.

I would like to score 4.5 but I’m not offered the choice. Yes he was late getting here, but after spending time with Paul and his explaining everything so clearly I can see why he may leave a customers home a little later. It was a good experience and I appreciated the follow up call to see if our fridge was working properly.

Excellent costumer service over the phone and in person. Appointments were booked and repairs were made in a very timely manner. They did a great job explaining the issues with the appliance and how it will be fixed at the best rate possible. Retro Appliances called 24 hours after repairs to ensure things were running smoothly. Thank you for making this transaction painless.

Quick and friendly call back from reception. They offered a few easy fix ideas before booking me in, which is very appreciated. Paul was on time, professional, friendly. I hope I don't need another repair, but if I do I will use Retro again :)

Very disappointed with this company, the guy called at 4:45pm to say that he was on his way. It is now 6:55pm and no trace or call and all the while my food is thawing in my freezer.In response to your comment the reason I gave you a 1 star is because you said that you were on your way from Minnow Lake and anybody who knows Sudbury, would know that it doesn't take 2 hours to get to Garson from minnow lake regardless of weather and when we called your shop we were told that the ssrvice tech would be over between 1-5, you called before 5 but didn't arrive till 7:00 amd then parked in my driveway for 15 mins without even doing anything. I'm not disputing your competency but for the price you charge for a simple visit to tell me to get a new freezer and the fact that I left work early to make sure to be at home between those hours that we were told you'd be visiting, we should have gotten a reduction on the fee for your lateness.No need to repond I am done with you and your company.

I have a full size Frigidaire fridge bolted to a freezer as shown in picture. Fridge wouldn’t stay cold, called multiple places and Retro had the fastest response time.! They came and evaluated the condenser failure within 15 minutes, ordered the parts and installed the new condenser and all new copper lines. The extremely knowledgeable and professional technician tells me it’s better than new now. Copper lines are much better quality than when it was new. Also has the exact amount of pressure in the lines required for the elevation of Sudbury. One last note, they are in the buisness of repairing and not just giving quotes and grabbing service calls. So if you actually want it repaired, they can fix it guaranteed!!!
