Tacos Mexico Memorial
Good overall experience here. Unfortunately we asked for no cilantro on the tacos to which the server said he could put it on the side for us. We agreed to get it on the side but then he forgot to tell the kitchen so we ended up with a bountiful amount on it. The server never noticed either or came to check up on us so we didn't end up telling him.We enjoyed the sauces provided and found the coconut flan very tasty. We enjoyed all tacos but were disappointed by the flavour of their carnitas that day. I think they are definitely worth another try as it may have just been an off day.

The food was fresh, with authentic flavours, served in an intimate environment, the service was friendly and fast. Do not let the fact it looks small and very plain on the exterior turn you off thos restaraunt is second to none

100% the best Mexican food you'll find.This location is the original and can't be compared to any other. If you get here and there is a line up don't get discouraged. Wait and you won't regret it.Eating here will make you feel like you're sitting in Mexico. :)Highly suggest you check this place out. See you there!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in Calgary! This spot along Memorial Drive offers some great authentic Mexican food at good prices. There is a wide variety of options here ranging from tacos to pozole, and each dish always tastes great! Portions are quite generous, and the interior is clean and comfortable, although slight cramped. The staff are friendly as well and the parking lot outside offers plenty of space. Highly recommend this restaurant as it’s been great every time I’ve visited!

This has got to be one of the best Mexican hole-in-the-walls in SE. Don't let its location behind a gas station fool you; the quality of food, ambiance and service is second to none. You can expect great food at around $20-$30 per pax.We recommend the mexican platter (forgot the name). It's good for 2-3 people at around $40-ish. It has chimichangas, burritos, grilled chicken, enchiladas and our personal favorite: flautas! We also had a birria taco that I feel needs a little bit more salt, but still amazing with the three sauces (habanero, salsa verde, and red sauce). Top it off with a nice Mezcal-based cocktail (like the margarita) for a refreshing end to your dining experience.

Finally, authentic Mexican food!! So much to choose from! We enjoyed the green enchiladas and the beef and chicken tostadas, which come with beef refried beans and rice. Generous portions and very quick and friendly service. Enjoyed the tequila water carafe. Lots of flavours of margaritas, I’ve never tried before. We will definitely be back!

I am by no means an authority on Mexican food, but here’s my two cents. First the good - the service was friendly and efficient, the soup was very nice, and the the whole place generally had a really great atmosphere. Now the not so good - the tacos were pretty bland. I’m not quite sure what the exact issue with them were, but they just lacked the vibrancy of flavours you would expect from tacos, and the meat was also very dry. This place is certainly better than many other places I’ve tried, but not sure I would go out of my way to come here. Might stop by if I’m in the area again.

You guys are forcing me to wait 45+ mins to get a seat for some bomb A*** Mexican food.The food is great, you’ll hate itThe staff is super friendly, for real don’t comeThe portion sizes are good, don’t waste your time I’ll do it for you.Go to some other lame Mexican place.
