Wildhorse Mountain Ranch

We had a great time on the Wildhorse Mountain Ranch! We, a family of 3, spent three nights on the Ranch during our Canada trip. We had a very nice and well equiped room. I'd say Caroline knows how to make you feel comfortable. The dogs are so kind and we loved to have them around us. It was also wonderful to be so close to the horses, two of them were walking around feeely :) The kids riding experience we can definitely recommend. We didn't do the trail ride but we've seen many people enjoying it! If you are in the area, don't miss it! And if you are looking for a nice place to stay, ask for availability!

Stayed for 2 nights at Woldhorse Ranch for my boyfriends birthday. When we got to the ranch we had a very brief tour of the upstairs deck and our room as the house tour" from Jochlen. The hosts are German and this must be heavily advertised in Germany as there were many other German guests that the host seemed much more intrigues to talk to rather than us. There was one amazing young girl Anna who was trying her hardest hardest run the show. We had a trail ride with her and we're shoked to learn it was only her 10th day and they has sent her out alone with 2 horses that don't like each other

Good experience. Beautiful view from the trail. Great instructor. Well behaved horses.Be aware of multiple dogs in property, but they are friendly.

The ranch is a super lovely and relaxing place. Jochen and Brigitte are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. The room was very cozy and I slept like a baby on the bed. We had dinner and breakfast with our stay and it was very yummy. The horseback riding was peaceful with some wonderful scenery of the Okanagan. I absolutely loved the horses at the ranch and the three dogs they have. They are very friendly and you won't want to leave. The nighttime sky was very clear and my wife and I even managed to watch shooting stars. We saw about 15 in an hour. Make sure you go and check out Kettle Valley Steam Train when in Summerland.Overall this is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and relax for a bit.

If you book through a travel website it states free cancelation! But the Wildhorse asks you to email a deposit.During the height of the wildfires, when the highway was closed and the BC premiere requested all Okanagan guest reschedule to allow locals access to hotel rooms. Remember that? Well, my partner and I asked to cancel or have our deposit held. They said no, and we're still taking all guests and did not return or hold our deposit.Not impressed.

Carolin responded quickly and lined up our trail ride over email. The trail ride guide was super friendly and made my girls feel right at home. Excellent experience all around will definitely be back for another ride!!

Awesome trail riding experience. Great guides, amazing horses, great pricing.Our guide was nothing but a treat to be around. She was nice, funny and made sure our ride was the best. If you or a loved one ever wants to try out a trail ride through the best views, and come out with one of the best views of the lake... Look no farther! We will be back for sure!

My fiancée and I stayed at the B&B for two nights and it was amazing. The ranch is nestled between beautiful green hills and run by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.The ranch is owned and run but a wonderful family who will go to great lengths to make you feel welcomed.The rooms have that cozy little cabin feel to them. There's no tv in the rooms, but wifi is available. The wifi isn't the fastest but I don't think you're going there for the internet.Bathrooms are shared with other people in the ranch. I didn't have any problem accessing the washrooms and I don't think you'll have any problems either.There are horses in the ranch if you like to go horse back riding.The ride to the place is a 2 km dirt road to the ranch once you reach Summerland.Love the quiet nights. I slept like I have never slept before. The ranch is close to hiking trails if you're into hiking.Summerland is the perfect place to stay because the town is just a drive to Kelowna, Peachland, and Penticton.You'll love staying there.Enjoy the stars at night :)

Had a wonderful trail ride ! The horses are so well cared for at this ranch and very well trained. The trails are amazing and scenery is beautiful ! I will be back again!

I would like to thank everyone at wild horse mountain ranch for the amazing experience that my girlfriend and I had there this weekend.The picturesque views of Okanagan Lake were well worth the easy climb to the top of the lookout.Our horses were super easy to ride, they were calm and very sure footed. We are both novice riders, but we both felt very safe and comfortable with our horses.Our guide was amazing too!She was very friendly, knowledgeable of the trail and excellent with horses.We loved our trail ride with Wildhorse Mountain Ranch and we are looking forward to coming back again soon ! 10/10 Recommend
