Murphy's Cove to Lodge's Pond Trail
Beautiful hike!! Around 6.5km on trail then last kilometer is on the road. Well marked trail! Lighthouse around halfway, nice view! Around 2 hour hike, moderate difficulty. I would recommend to anyone who loves an ocean view hike!

Beautiful place to hike and great for the inexperienced hiker! Lovely place to spend the afternoon combing the beaches or to sit and have a quiet picnic by the ocean

This is an excellent coastal hike, especially in early summer when the icebergs are floating by. Later in the season whales can often be seen. There is a good spot for lunch about half way, with a good view of the lighthouse and island.

A great hike in nature that weaves in and out of woods and beside the ocean. This trail offers something for everyone who loves nature, with a few surprises along the way! There are some steep areas and good mobility is a must!

A understated hiking gem. You’ll have the trail to yourself as others head to its more well known siblings in the region. Lots of sea coast winding in and out of coastal trees. Even a few otters if you are lucky.

Great hike. About 8km. Starts with some rocky terrain that leads to the coastline for some nice views. Ends with walking through the road in the town.

Great trail with a wide variety of landscapes. Cliffs, coves, beaches, meadows, a lighthouse, a cave, forests, and an old town site. Very worthwhile!
