Ive asked Geoff to do inspection on our house and he did that in a very short notice. Geoff gave me every details I need and itemized which areas need to prioritize to look after/repair and even recomend local contractor. I’m satisfied with the service he provided and Geoff really did an excellent job. He sent a detailed digital copy of the report. And gave me a follow up call to go through with his reports. Geoff was able to book my appointment on the spot within a week at a time that worked for me. He was very thorough with the inspection, provided clear indications of any problems and included his recommendations on what items could be addressed as a DIY project or what should be done by a qualified profesional. David and Leslie inspected our new home in Saint John for us before we moved out from Victoria, BC. They provided us with a comprehensive report and answered all our follow up questions, adding more of their own knowledge about the neighbourhood and Saint John generally. When it comes to the important safety aspects, it's reassuring to be able to rely on Geoff's professional knowledge as a former electrician. Geoff is communicative and open to having me on site for the inspection together. He was able to identify important parts I cared most about and assess them in a greater context (for example, some window + door defects could be seen as minor symptoms for a 100-year-old house; useful tips / tools for examining electrical setups; the potential cost for partial renovations etc., as opposed to mindlessly listing uncategorized issues). He patiently clarified everything I wanted to understand, and offered helpful perspectives / advice on things based on both professional expertise and relevant personal experience. Upon request, he offered recommendations for good tools, electrical professionals, and offered to help study the wiring setup for the house (at a later date, and outside the scope of regular inspection); I am sure he would be happy to share many other good resources for home maintenance. I learned lots from Geoff and would highly recommend his service.
