Windsor Guest House
This was an awful experience. We booked the delux queen room but we were given the Richard room which is a double bed up in the basement. No air conditioning. We had booked for two nights in June but left after first night. Breakfast is mediocre. Basically a rooming house not a guest house. No staff to welcome you. The heat was full blast in the front of house and smell old and not nice. Would not recommend to stay there.

Lovely old house in an older, established neighborhood. Good location, close to so many things. Parking very limited and they are open about that from the outset. TV extremely limited. No air conditioning, but fans supplied. Beautiful front porch to relax on. Yummy breakfast. Be aware that the top level requires climbing steep stairs. We had an issue with one of the beds at check-in; maintenance was very responsive. Would recommend highly!

Modest but adequate accommodation. My room had a full bathroom and cable tv. The house is very well kept and the employees are very friendly. The free breakfast was great and included options like vegetable omelette, French toast, or eggs in a requested style. Price for my stay was very reasonable.

We stayed in October for a holiday. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared omelettes and french toast. Good location with adequate parking. (if the house is not fully booked) One minor issue was the printer for the computer didn't work.

No elevator-- had to drag suitcases up steps to porch then to second floor. The radiators were left on with no way to turn then of it down. The breakfast was good-- served by two wonderful ladies. Would I go there again? Yes, if I was younger and could better navigate the stairs!

It's a nice and convenient and welcoming house. Everything is very good about it. The breakfast is great and customized for you. It feels safe and welcoming. Conveniently located close to most stores and facilities. Wish they had one more bathroom for the guests rather than 1 shared between 4 or 5 rooms. Otherwise, loved EVERYTHING else about it.

I enjoyed my stay. The area is convenient for walking to stores, pharmacy and many restaurants. I had the Richard room. I didn't ask but I looked to see if I could close it. I didn't see a way and just dealt with it. You could hear talking through the window and feel the breeze. I just grabbed the extra blanket. I didn't use the sit down breakfast.

Nice house, very clean. Felt like I was staying at an AirBnB, not a Bed and Breakfast. Never met the owner of the home and our room was very small for 2 beds. Need to update furniture, the full size bed had sharp legs on it, cut my toe on it. Breakfast was delicious, but I wouldn’t call it a meal. You had a choice between eggs, pancakes, French toast, omelette., etc. couldn’t have pancakes with eggs.

What a lovely place to stay! The location is great, just a couple minutes walk from the sky train station, but on a quiet, cute street. We arrived an hour before check-in, and the housekeeper generously let us into the house to get ready for a wedding we were heading to, even though our room wasn't quite ready yet. We really appreciated her accommodating us! The room itself (we stayed in the Library room) was very clean, unique, and had an extremely comfortable bed. We were greeted by the housekeeper again in the morning and she cooked us some very tasty omelettes! Not only did we enjoy our stay so much, but the cost of staying one night was very reasonable compared to other places in Vancouver. Two thumbs up!

I booked this hotel for my father & his friend. The hotel location is very convenient (5 min from skytrain station by foot) which surprisingly doesn’t make this place pricy! Thank you all the staff for doing such a wonderful job, their rooms were clean all the time, breakfast was very tasty and they were also able to leave their luggage in the halfway after checkout. Thank you for serving me coffee every morning when I came to pick them up. This place is very cozy and lovely.
