Thank you to whoever thought of Google reviews. I almost wanted to do business with this guy. Read the reviews and almost got a heart attack. Tried to scam a old lady- poor soul. How come is out free and still roaming and still has a business, should be behind bar!!** You replied to my review that is was the contractor who scammed not you...then why is your name involved and you are mentioned on the Toronto Sun- so its fake news? Please , instead of replying and trying to be the innocent one please stop scamming people - try to live a honest life - Don't cheat people, please sir. Thank You.

Guy ripped off an elderly family member from my wife's side. He is a scumbag of the highest order. Karma is real and it will catch up with you.

i went a couple of days to ago and pawn a bracelet and a necklace as i needed cash so badly. harold asked me how much money i needed and granted it.the problem was, they dont look at the current value of your item.they rely basically on the amount you need which is ridiculous. i know the value of my items but just because i needed a small amount of money, i just agreed to offer but eventually was surprise of the interest rate they have..500$ with 100$ interest rate for 7days?!!!! this is a total rip off.and knowing the value of my jewelry which is way more than they offer.i would certainly get another option if you are thinking about going there.. they wont even offer a receipt until i asked them.. i just gave two stars because i was able to get cash at that time but i would definitely wont be returning to the store..

Judy Allen nightmare was being 83 and taking out $1.5 million of mortgages at 22% interest, read the toronto star stories, Harold should be ashamed to do this to a decent lady! Harold we all hope that folks read the articles and realize that your a terrible person!

Would highly NOT RECOMMEND - I thought I would write an experience on behalf of my parents. They went in to look for a fair price like everyone would, however upon showing the jewelry, Harold went to the back to further inspect it and came back with a lowball offer (to be expected). When my parents turned it down, he gave it back, however the chain was cut. My parents were obviously upset as he had no reason to cut the chain. My parents asked why he had cut it (did not explain), his response was, “Well you have two options now you can sell it to me now, or you can pay me to repair it” - Lesson learned do not trust anyone to take anything to further inspect while losing sight of your possession.Experience 0/5Fairness 0/5Trustworthiness 0/5While reading a few posts it’s pretty clear that the high rated reviews all have only one review hence these are all new account to bring up the rating.Not to add the responses from Harold have all be examples of how your experience would be like if you visit the store.

If you are thinking of doing a mortgage, DO NOT DO IT HERE!! I made that mistake and a $25K mortgage cost me $51k after 3 years!! Trust me, DON’T DO IT!! It was the worst mistake of my life!! Take the time to do your research, you won’t regret it!!

Recently I visited Harold. This was my second time being here and thought very hard about the first visit about a year ago. I remembered that it wasn't the most pleasant visit/experience, however, I gave Harold the benefit of the doubt... maybe he was having a bad day at the time.As some of you may know, the price of silver is fairly low right now. I purchase a lot of silver ounces ever few months. So, I was at a recent supplier (Cache Metals located on Davenport), and they were all out of silver for a few weeks. I then decided to pay my friend Harold a visit to see if he could help.Before I arrived at the store in the morning, I called Harold and asked him over the phone if he had any silver. He did have some. But it wasn't the answer he gave me, it was his tone and how he responded. It went something like this: Who is this?? What do you want...?? I might have some... okay

Sketchy shop owner, undervalues product, offered funds that weren't even close to melt value for 22k. (25% of melt value offered) Highly recommend you avoid this dealer. Better rates to be elsewhere with more honest people.Response to Owner: Your response clearly shows your lack of professional conduct, and the lack business acumen pertaining to customer service.
