I had enrolled my son in the balance bikers camp hoping they he would improve on skills such as balance, coordination, stopping skills and body placement up and down small hills (as noted in the website description of the course). Unfortunately, this was not what was taught in the course. It was basically the kids riding bike and forth on level ground. I was told by the instructor and manager that these were the learning outcomes. Had I known these were the learning outcomes, I would not have enrolled my toddler. I think the learning outcomes (the report card) should be clearly stated on the website. My child did not learn any new skills. I was also hoping for traffic safety and riding pathway etiquette. This was also not taught other than playing red light, green light on a level surface. I would have preferred him in a pedal class but the minimum age requirement is 4. I think there should be a reconsideration of this minimum age requirement as balance bikers have lowered this age. Overall, I think the course itself was not challenging or informative enough for my child to learn anything new and would not be recommending it to other parents.

Our 6y old son recently completed the Pedal heads bike camp in Edmonton last month; unfortunately, it was not a good experience for either of us. Not only did he not progress in his riding ability but he was uninterested in bike riding by the end of the week. I found the instructors to be unfriendly and did not adapt to the different kids in their group (something echoed by other parents I spoke to during the week). I have tried to reach out to the company to provide feedback last month (May) but no response as of this date. I am sorry for the negative tone of my review but I would not recommend Pedalheads bike classes to a 5-7y old...maybe for an older kid who is comfortable riding a bike already.

Both our children attended the Level 1 Beginners course. The course was well-organized, staff were energetic, friendly and gave feedback after each day. Both kids were off training wheels by the end of the first day and, although our youngest still needs some help, our eldest is now able to ride independently.

Our 4 year old did the course back in July. His instructor was great, and he came home riding without training wheels after the first day. He had so much fun through the week! Only reason I don't rate a 5 star, is there was a bit of disorganization on scheduling for our week, but other than that it was fantastic and would recommend.

This review reflects my experience as an employee through pedalheads. After 10 plus years in the electrical field I was tired of being taken advantage of and not being paid for the work I did. So I made a huge change and took the gamble that working with kids and sharing my magic with others might be more fulfilling.BOY WAS I WRONG! After two weeks of running camp, making schedules, managing both instructors and camper age 3-12 both my team and myself where NOT paid!! After addressing the issue with management, when I showed up the following Monday for my scheduled shift I was told to go home! Needless to say my interactions with this company leads me to believe that they are more interested in taking your money then paying those who keep their camp running. Ive filled a complaint with Colorado Divison of Labor standards to hopefully get the money that is owed to me and my coworkers.Is this the type of fun place you want to send your kids?

My 6yr old son was on training wheels before he started Level1, on Day 2 he could ride his bike without training wheels. His instructor Lucy was phenomenal. He loved it so much that he skipped Level2 and has already completed Level3 & 4. Very pleased with all the instructors here.

My son had an excellent week at Pedalheads- Parkland! His counsellor (Ethan) was fantastic, the camp was well organized and my son was up on two wheels within 15 minutes on the first day! A really great experience and will definitely sign him up again next summer.

What a super way for young children to overcome their fears of biking and gain such confidence! Our instructor Reese inspired my grandson to really take risks and now he's cycling everywhere! In 2 days he was pumped! By 5th day he's showing off how he can brake, cycle through obstacles and even make hand signals! Thank you Pedalheads.

My son attended bike camp this past July in copperfield for the week and had an amazing time. His instructor Goose was absolutely amazing. They did a really great job keeping the kids cool in the heat wave we had that week and my son is finally riding his bike on his own and has only gotten better since camp. I know I never could have gotten him riding solo on my own, Nolan says thanks so much Goose!

My daughters first time with pedal head. Never ridden without her training wheels. After a few days she was riding confidently without training wheels. Not only that she also learned to get started on her own without assistance. So now she can skip level 2 and go straight to level 3 if we choose to sign her back to pedalheads. Serar was her instructor and she did an amazing job. My daughter enjoyed every single day and looked forward to her bike camp everyday.
