PQB Dental Clinic Dr. Mike Rogers

I found a new dental office! An atmosphere more down to earth and not where you feel like your dentist is working on commission, trying to push expensive procedures or products.

While travelling through the area, I unexpectedly had a filling fall out on the week-end. Dang! What do you you do when you don't have a regular dentist in the area, and you have a dental issue? I called and left messages with several dental offices in the Parksville area.Only one took the time out of their weekend to return my call. Dr. Rogers texted me back, and although he was unavailable to personally offer treatment, he put me in touch with an emergency service that could help me out of my pickle, ensured I got rapid care, and followed up to ensure I was taken care of.What dentist takes time out of their personal time to help out a traveler in need? Apparentaly only one.Thanks Dr. Mike!

Taking advantage of insurance?So I have been to another dentist earlier for x-ray and check and, yes you have a cracked tooth, sorry we are so backed up it will be a month before you can get in to see us to fix it. So I do look elsewhere for appointment, I explain to everyone on phone the situation.This office here say yes we can get you in as long as we can get your x-ray from your other dentist. No call back I get there and so looking forward to getting my tooth fixed so I can eat and sleep. But no now it's oh we always do our own x-ray and always do preappointment. And it will be at least a month for appointment. But we are happy to recharge your insurance for what we said we would get from your regular dentist.... So scammers?

Very friendly, very happy, Dr. Mike was awesome and to the point!

All the staff are amazing with my 8 year old son with autism. He was nervous at first, everyone was super friendly and patient they made him feel very comfortable.

They got me in today on short notice for an infection - great staff and great experience!

Went to get a check up after dealing with issues in my mouth for a while now. I was told to floss, and no information was given as to why I was dealing with specific issues. I left feeling humiliated and with no resolution or information as to what I was dealing with.
