I came across Spa Squad about 5 years ago. One of our pumps quit working in the winter and we were in danger of losing the entire spa. A friend had me drain it and place a small heater in it to keep it stable. The people I bought it from kept promising to help and have a service guy call. That never happened because they probably didn't want to fix it, they wanted a new sale. I finally found the Spa Squad and had Jim come out in the spring. He replaced the pump and got everything running perfect. Since that day we have had them shut things down in the winter and perform a startup every spring. It's well worth the money and peace of mind. This year another pump had a leak and once again Jim came out and got everything running perfect. I can't recommend Jim and the Spa Squad highly enough!!!

Communication is terrible. Also didn't want to do a simple job. Made a ton of excuses why he couldn't make it. Also if he wasn't going to make it he never called so you sit around waiting. Do not hire!

Used them to check over my hot tub for an insurance claim. They came out charged $160 to just look at it didn’t give me a letter or description for weeks to submit to my insurance company. I called several times the receptionist would just say they’re working on it. Then I find out that they went around me and called the insurance adjuster directly and gave their expertise on what a new hot tub should cost. Bashed my hot tub saying how it was middle of the road and the price goes by amount of jets. They don’t sell new hot tubs they’re a repair company? If I can’t buy a new hot tub from them they are not experts and shouldn’t be weighing in on cost. I needed a repair quote and assessment. I’m out thousands because of them to cover the difference on a new replacement unit.

We recently got our new spa and between work and kids we needed a little help getting started. Bring in Spa Squad. They got our tub filled and ready to go. We had bumps along the way and calls back and forth but that was not because Spa Squad did anything wrong. We were new users and asking a lot of questions, this even prompted them to ask if I wanted to cancel and refund for what we had yet used. No way- but what a great offer. Between conversations and tweaks everything is perfect now. With the cold weather and schedules our family has this is a great service they provide and I would strongly recommend Spa Squad- especially for first time spa owners.

I had a fantastic experience with SpaSquad and highly recommend their service. Over the phone James was able to instruct me on things to try, simpler things to help rule out simple problems for my hot tub not fully heating. When those quick fixed did not work he came out to diagnose the problem.The issue was with the circuit board, something far outside anything I could have attempted to repair myself. The repairs were all done while I was work. The set up being outside, including the circuit breaker for the hot tub, it was all taken care of. It has been 2 weeks since the repair and everything has been working swimmingly.
