A bit of red tape. But, grateful for the education and medical benefits. Too many veterans are just lazy or confused with the paperwork. Get the paperwork done.

The person who helps my elderly parent could not be more kind. He listens. He considers all the facts. He cares immensely. I'm just so grateful. I really believe my Mom is alive because of all he's done to make her life easier.

Finding life hard? Instead of helping you, these guys will happily kill you.

Retired in 98. Between lying and poor service on the part of VA I would recommend just trying to find a private lawyer. I can’t count the amount of times they have changed their phone number over the years. They will tell you that they will get back to you when they won’t. I now call each summer every year for the past 4 years to get a form to restart an old claim that was once refused. I’ve yet to receive it as such. “But this is the year they will make sure I get it!” Years ago I attempted to join the reserves but was refused because the military doctor informed me that I should have been medically released in 91. I asked for that in writing but was refused by the military doctor. Now nobody will speak with me. Other than a small medical pension check, I don’t exist.
