Trinity Eco-Tours and Lodge

We had a perfect day for our boat tour with Skipper Bob. We saw 4 humpbacks, puffins, an eagle... and Bob seemed to have a sense for the places where we could find the whales. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Skipper Bob is truly the best. We went on a zodiac whale watch tour with him in August 2019, and doing another boat trip with him was #1 on our to do list for our June 2023 visit. Wow! He did not disappoint the second time. We saw a beautiful iceberg, minke and humpback whales, puffins, and countless eagles, including a stellar sea eagle. Bob’s love and care for NL is also apparent throughout the tour. A must do!

Skipper Bob was knowledgeable and provided a fantastic experience. We saw puffins and the rugged coast of Newfoundland. We saw a majestic humpback whale and respectfully followed it, watching it dive beneath the waves. A truly magical experience. I highly recommend this tour!

Icebergs, puffins and whales, oh my!We took a Zodiac boat tour with Bob. It was mid-June and Bob was up front that it was not yet prime time for whales off Trinity. The tour would have been great even without seeing whales but Bob’s efforts to lower our expectations turned out to be unnecessary. We saw several humpbacks including a mother and child pair. It was awesome! We had great fun and highly recommend Bob and Trinity Eco-Tours.

We did the sea kayaking tour and it was one of the best experiences in my life! Darrell was an excellent, enthusiastic guide who made the trip so interesting! He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We got to paddle around an iceberg and were even able to see some humpback whales. Overall an amazing time! Would def recommend:)

We had the absolute best time with Darrell on our sunset kayak tour! Even though the sea conditions were choppy and we were only able to experience the swells for a short while (but absolutely breathtaking experience), he was the loveliest tour guide! He was patient and so great at teaching the two of us to operate the kayak.We had a brief whale sighting and some icebergs but it was honestly the conversation, history and personal stories Darrell shared that made our evening.Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!

The 4 of us booked a whale watching tour as we barnstormed NL. The tour was exciting and successful. We saw a large iceberg, bald eagles, and minke and humpback whales. It was cold out on the ocean but you didn't really pay attention to that until the ride home. Captain Steve was informative and helpful. It was a great time.

Wow! My family just can't say enough about our sunset kayaking tour with Darrell the first week of June. There was six of us which was the perfect size for a tour. Even though it was overcast and we didn't see an iceberg or whale, that didn't stop us from having a fantastic time! Darrell was so great at answering our questions, making us feel confident on the water and so skilled! His knowledge of the water and area was fascinating. We loved that we suited up and walked through the cute town. The scenery on the water was so beautiful. It was a bit chilly that night but the coffee, hot chocolate and delicious home made muffins waiting for us at the end hit the spot! Thank you so much for the amazing adventure! Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour, did the sunset kayak tour. Was a great experience, Darrell was great, conditions were perfect couldn’t ask for a better way to spend the evening. Even seen a cod chasing some Caplin on the surface.
