Dan from big riggs is devoted to his business and his customers. He doesn't deserve this one 1 star fake review. Anyone who knows him and his craftsmanship does not believe it to be true. If any rob/product did break it was either from misuse or would have been replaced. Thanks again for your hard work brother, you're doing Miramichi proud.

Huge selection of tackle.

Very helpful guy.store is very clean, and neatly organized. We did buy two mugs and they were both dented. :( Didn't even realize until it was too late. We definitely overpaid. Great place to go, but check the quality of the items before you purchase.

In my experience, this is the place to go for fishing supplies in Mirimachi. If you are after Stripers, Dan and crew should be your first choice. They are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly to deal with and have everything you need.Their up/down rigs for bait are the best. The bait is perfect and the soft lures are exactly what you need. Dan will even tell you where to wet the line.If you are fishing the river, the shore or heading further north, make Big Rigs Tackle your first stop.

It is pretty sad when competing businesses/entrepreneurs are so very threatened by their competitors that they leave 1 star fake reviews like above.I have known the owner almost 10 years, he is a down to earth, honorable, friendly, kind, and helpful person and should be regarded as a pillar of his community.Dan built my fishing rod years ago, I can't honestly say it broke in the first day, what I can say is I now own 8 rods and IT is still the one that stays in my hands while the others are used by friends and family/ anchored on the shore.I use it deep sea, river and on the bay of Fundy, it has been relined several times and still operates like a beast.Next we can talk about the mans skills and knowledge.Dan taught me the majority of what I know about fishing in fact he very humbly corrected many mistakes I had made.He even cooks bass a way that makes me love it, I don't like bass!In almost 10 years I have NEVER known the man to build anything and even GIVE IT AWAY that couldn't withstand more than the industry standards could throw at it.My only regret is that I now live in N.S and he is no longer my neighbor!

Great shop and very knowledgable staff. They carry everything you need to catch the big fish and at lower prices than the big box stores. Dan is an avid fisherman and very passionate about his products which means you get quality fishing gear.

Very clean space, employee is very nice and explains what you need to go out fishing. Danny is a hard worker to make sure all orders are complete. Danny is a very kind and always helping others with their fishing needs. Highly recommend them!! You won’t be disappointed!!

They had exactly what I needed plus a t shirt, staff was very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend stopping by prior to going fishing in the Miramichi River.

Went in looking for lures, left with tips and tricks and great leads on fishing spots. Great place to get all the sinkers and lures you could ever need. Miramichi is the place to be for spring Bass fishing so go see these guys and get set up for success.

We have been shopping at Big Rig’s since it opened — always friendly, great products and they’re super great with kids. My sons love going there.
