This is an awesome store that moor many people seem to know about. Good selection of tactical gear from boots to flashlights. Fun place to browse.

Went in the other day to pic up a few mags. I spent a few minutes walking around browsing the displays. An employee approached me and engaged me in casual conversation. I thought great! Customer service! This is fantastic. I then told him im looking for 10rd 1911 mags and he replied with ...was there anything else?" I replied "no not today." He then shrugged and walked away from me. What kind of customer service was that? No interest in the average joe picking up a few mags???? very disappointed."

Bravo on the owner for donating gear to support Ukraine civilians on their fight against Russian invaders. Respect!

The staff here are highly knowledgeable and MD Charlton provides hands down some of the best quality tactical supplies for reasonable prices. Wether you need a good flashlight, new notebooks, duty belts, holsters or apparel MD Charlton has it and if they don't have it in stock they can and will get it for you.

They could do much better at customer service.

Good store to get gear for first responders, security, and other professionals in similar fields.There's a variety of items available ranging from footwear, apparel, duty equipment, and more.There is an area for civilians to shop for various items (see above). Keep in mind not all products are available for the public, some items require specific clearances, certificates and licenses before you are able to purchase them (ex: body armour, certain accessories, and other regulated items).They have an online store platform that lists various things that they carry. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will put in the time and effort to get you what you are looking for.The staff are professionals, they are knowledgeable about everything they carry and will help you.I have been a long time customer with MDC and will be for years to come. The majority of the equipment I carry for work came from MDC.

This is a great police, fire and paramedic store. Has lots of variety and interesting items. Not a 5 star rating because it's always a bit disorganized. Polite prompt staff.

These guys are awful. They handle the Canadian warranty claims for SIG Sauer products. My SIG optic stopped working after 7 months, and SIG told me to get a hold of MDC. I asked Michael Hanin in the warranty department for a shipping label and he told me shipping is my responsibility. I sent him the optic ($28 with Canada Post), then asked for an update the following week. He’s impossible to get a hold of, no answer after several emails and phone calls. He returns my emails a week after I sent the first one, telling me “it should be shipping out this week” (turns out it didn’t). They’ve now had it for almost 3 weeks, and they still haven’t even shipped it (I managed to get a hold of Michael Hanin after calling all morning). I hear SIG makes nice stuff, but after dealing with MDC, I’ll stick with Vortex.

Meh..good in a pinch for basic gear I would imagine. I went in looking for some pouch options and was counselled on Dept policies. They had one option available but it is unsuitable for anything operational. I will save my money for a different store with more options and a better shopping experience.
