Today I had the best experience ever! A lot of associates helped me out today, but the ones that stand out for me today were Alison and Harry! They are amazing! Alison was super sweet and helped me getting someone (Harry) to carry something to my uber! Harry was super helpful and very patient! Amazing customer service! I'll be definitely coming back!

Bought a 1 gallon of paint at this store and 3 1 quart cans. The 1 gallon I needed for the painters, whom were coming in the next morning to paint. They opened the can and literally asked me how old this paint was. Told them I bought it the day before, they said it was unusable. He proceeded to pull out a gigantic chunk of solid paint? He said he'd be furious if he was the one that bought it. I came back (with this chunk still in can) and was trying to show it to the clerk and she wouldn't even look at it. Said non-refundable and non-exchangable. The 3 quarts I finally got to opening them today to use, 2 were properly mixed and worked out okay... 1 was super tacky, hard to use and had small clumps throughout. I should of known better but I'm now out $60 of paint because of some error that the paint lady did, who won't even listen OR look how unusable the paint actually is. NEVER GET PAINT HERE.

An employee forgot they were helping me and left me standing in an aisle for around 45 minutes. I finally asked someone else, Ben, to help me grab what I needed. It was a hard item to find, but Ben did everything he possibly could to find it. Ben is great. We love Ben. More Ben's is what Home Depot needs. I hope he gets employee of the day/month/year/whatever.

June 7 2023 The Outside garden center clerk had no idea where the Promix Organic Plant Liquid was and had no idea if there was more garden food in the store. I had to find it on my own. Then I walked up to a group of employees speaking amongst themselves. I asked for a light socket pull chain adapter. The South Asian woman looked at me and said I don't know and immediately continued rambling on with other employees. That little group is costing Home Depot at least 100k a year in lost production. Home Depot is alright, but you're on your own. This trend of increasingly Horrible Service will make the transition to fully automated, employee-less stores that much easier.

I came to this Home Depot to get parts to fix a gutter. I didn't know much, so I approached the team member in the aisle. He was very helpful and gave me some good tips. I managed to get the job done.Home Depot always has better prices than other hardware stores, so I tend to go to Home Depot before anywhere else.

Not so many choices. I guess father’s day and Canada day wiped out a majority of good deals but I still have some deals left for myself - so it is still something better than nothing. Store looks like a shortage of staff (or people passed the bucks to each other). It took 15 mins to find a person available to help but then at least one helpful lady showed up and lend me a hand. Her name is Andrea. She nailed it, along with a tall Caucasian guy (dont know his name). I suggest you increase the quantity of staff every single aisle needs help, especially in this home building industry :)

I recently visited Home Depot Burnaby and was pleasantly surprised by the helpful and knowledgeable staff, many of whom were Persian. They went out of their way to assist me with my home improvement needs and made the shopping experience a breeze. While the store itself was typical of any Home Depot, the staff's friendly and attentive service made all the difference. I would highly recommend Home Depot Burnaby to anyone in the area looking for great service and quality products.

the Tool Rental experience was unacceptable, most tools I rent doesn't work, and they will blame you for their broken tools. The technicians doesn't seem to know what they're doing, they tried fixing it when I brought it back but look at the place! How can any work be done in this setting. Standards have really fallen, just a year ago it was decent and had some helpful workers who were knowledgeable. Even helped my husband fix his personal lawn mower. But I haven't seen those workers in a while sadly.
