Great food! They aren’t cheap with the fish as you can see. Very generous portions and great fries too. Service was great. The guy serving food was very attentive and refilled water three times.

Food was delicious, fish was light and cooked to perfection with batter light and crisp. Only thing I would say is chips needed just a small did of salt fresh when coming out of fryer. But definitely worth 5 star review all over.

Great fish, incredibly fresh and ridiculously delicious. Generous portions, and they gave tons of condiments. The owners are extremely courteous, friendly and overall very genuine and nice. Cool little decoration setup in there also!!Definitely all around a great experience.

I'm not sure if it was simply a mistake, but when we went a few months ago, we saw the line up and thought it would be good. However, once we got out fish and chips, it was very dry and plain and we could not finish it. Only later on did I learn that you need a sauce called the tartar sauce, because that adds all of the flavour and actually makes it taste good. I'm not sure if they purposefully did not give it to us or simply forgot to, but if you are willing to try eating at this place, then make sure to check for the sauce.The place itself was somewhat small but had a few seating areas. It was decorated using London themed images which were not too bad.

Best fish and chips I’ve had so far! Good portions and the batter is thin, crispy and stays together while you eat it. It is pricey, but you definitely get your money’s worth.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Our order is always the halibut and chips and shrimp and chips. That portions are generous and the batter on the fish is light and crisp, it's not a thick batter that soaks up all the oil. The shrimp is cooked perfect everytime, the same with the halibut where it is moist and flakey.We haven't had a bad experience or meal over the years, they've been consistent even when busy. This restaurant is priced just right for their portions.When dining inside, Ben is a great host and very accommodating.Jasper's definitely ranks in the top for best fish and chips spots in the GTA for me.

What can I say about an excellent Fish and Chips place where I have been a customer for 30plus years? Their products are excellent, their menu is good and their chips are the best ! The walls inside are lined with Tea Towels from customers who have traveled around the world. They have stopped accepting more because, according to Ben, they have SO many. Why not call in advance for a takeout order? That's what I have done many times and then you can walk right past the line, when there is one. Dining in works for me sometimes too, but honestly, I prefer taking it home. After a few minutes on a paper towel in the toaster oven, a bit of oil comes off in the warm up process. Among many others, we LOVE Jasper's.

I've been coming here for years. This is the best spot for Halibut I've ever found. Great place to bring the family and kids any day of the week. Casual environment and the best fish & chips you'll ever have in YOUR LIFE!!

The young staff servers were great and owners were friendly and the diner was reminiscent of a U.K spot. The fish was good, the coleslaw was tiny and not very good. Tartar sauce did not come automatically with the food. Compared to some great fish and chip places I've tried, I found the food underwhelming.

Best Fish and Chips in Pickering. A small dine-in area as well as take-out. I always get the Haddock, but the Halibut is great as well. Generous portions. It should also be noted that Jasper is run by the nicest people. They make you feel like you're more than just a customer. Something that's missing at a lot of restaurants you go to nowadays.
