I ordered a L-sectional from them recently. Very happy with the service and quality. The sales person Cary was really helpful in listening to our requirements and suggesting something that fits it unlike other furniture stores who were very keen to sell us their specials and some even going to the point of convincing to change our requirement. Cary spent about 2-3 hours in between 3 visits until we finalized our requirement without rushing us through it. So If you are looking for custom size and color sofa with firm seat cushions on your sofa at a reasonable price, definitely check them out. Not many furniture stores have this option of firm seating and who can customize the sofa for you at a reasonable price. They do. Highly recommend.

6 years later, still enjoying our sofa. The manager, Peter, has always been great with us, with honest opinions, making our decisions much easier. Brought my in-laws to him a few years ago for another sectional-sofa, and no complaints since. Just brought my brother-in-law in last week, Peter worked with us for a few hours to find the sectional that would be their best fit. My brother-in-law just told me he received their sectional and were very happy with it, except one of the wooden legs was a bit scratched (it was a floor model). He had talked to Peter earlier and Peter would be sending someone out to repair it for him. Awesome customer service!

We have been shopping at Sterling for years. Quality for sure for a reasonable price. We have furnished almost every room in the house and the durability of everything has stood up to their promises. All this along with knowledge and friendly service, I definitely recommend Sterling.

Purchased a sectional from Sterling House. The process started of okay but sadly turned into a mess. Not only did they give me a 5 month window that turned into 9 months but when they delivered the furniture the truck had a leak and left a huge oil stain on the driveway. I called the location and spoke to Christine who asked for pictures to send to the head office. I messaged 3 additional times over 4 month span for a response as I was not getting any hence this review. We noticed this the next morning as they came late and it was dark. Told them no one parks at the bottom plus the truck was angled where the front was on my driveway in that very spot. I am sure a few customers as well as their loading dock will have these oil stains. I am also sure their insurance will cover it but to ignore my messages after damaging my property is unacceptable after spending $6000. Would not recommend purchasing from them if they cannot take responsibility. I patiently waited when it turned from 5 months to 9 but damage was too much to accept

I wanted to share my positive experience with Cristina at Sterling House. She made the purchase of our new bed effortless and answered all my emails by calling me directly and dealing with any inquiries immediately. She was a pleasure to work with and we are very happy with our purchase. Would highly recommend her and Sterling House.

I visited this week to purchase a new sofa. Cristina helped me and she was lovely. Very patient and informative. I ended up deciding to wait on this new purchase but when I’m ready I will go back to see Cristina. Store has a good selection and good prices also.

I ordered a large sectional sleeper last summer, and it was backordered. It finally came back in stock this spring, and I was notified immediately. Initially, I only paid a deposit to order the couch, and paid in full before it shipped. I loved having that option to just pay a deposit! As well, when it shipped, the shipping company was excellent! Called me to arrange a date and time for delivery, and even helped my husband offload it. As well, the couch was packaged SO well. It shipped from Ontario to Nova Scotia and arrived in perfect condition! I was very impressed. So much that I actually immediately ordered a second couch as soon as the first one arrived!

Sterling is great to work with if you are purchasing something from them, they are eager to help and see the sale through. Once you need to get in touch with them for a repair, replacement, status of an order that was placed, etc., they ghost you. Specifically I have been dealing with Cristina over the past few years as we made numerous purchases through her. Very pleasant to deal with...however does not follow up, and does not return calls or email when she says she will. At this point she has been storing my cushion replacement from the manufacturer for over 6 months. My husband went to pick it up one day, but she did not have the time" to look for it and informed him she would have it delivered. Also stated that if it was not delivered by the weekend

I recently bought a desk from Sterling house in Mississauga and had an excellent experience. I went in to the store looking for a specific desk I had seen online and met Cristina. She was extremely friendly and helpful. During the process I changed my mind several times about what I wanted and became pretty 'high maintenance'. Cristina was extremely patient with me and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and provided several recommendations. She introduced me to Handstone which is a Canadian manufacturer. I ended up, eventually, choosing one of the Handstone desks which just arrived last week and it is absolutely beautiful and extremely well made. I looked at every desk imaginable in the time leading up to my final choice and couldn't be happier. The desk is also very good value for the money as this line is very well priced for the quality. I can highly recommend Sterling House if you are looking for new furniture. Ask for Cristina...she knows what's out there and will help you find exactly what you are looking for!

I just purchased furniture for a third time from this store. Peter and Christina have been a pleasure to deal with over the years. They carry quality furniture at a great value for money. They have always had great after sales service as well and treat me like a friend every time I visit. I will continue doing business with them for many years to come and recommend my family and friends.I purchased a beautiful Decorest sectional and chair from them this time.They also have a great zero percent financing program as well.John R.
