Jugo Juice

My daughter and I were in Coquitlam Centre and needed a bite to eat for lunch. We'd had a pretty heavy breakfast that  morning, so we really wanted more of a nibble rather than an actual lunch. I bought us Matcha Green Tea Latte, Lavender Black Tea Latte, and Apple Pie Chia Pudding from Jugo Juice . My daughter  had the Lavender Black Tea Latte, I had the Matcha Green Tea Latte, and we both shared the Apple Pie Chia Pudding.Neither drink was spectacular but it was a cold, rainy day and we wanted warm drinks, so that was why I had chosen those drinks for us. In the future I think I will stick with ordering smoothies and juices from Jugo Juice since that's what they're known for.The Apple Pie Chia Pudding was acualIy pretty good; I quite enjoyed it. We were too full though to finish it so I brought it home and finished it the next day. I scooped it out into a bowl and heated it up in the  microwave. It tasted better that way. Apple Pie is after all, better when it's warm. So, me and my S/O tried this place for the first time, and it was very delicious don't get me wrong. But almost exactly an hour later, a severe stomach ache hit us both at the same time. We had different things throughout the day, but both had Jugo Juice. We even ordered different ones. Whatever was in that drink hit us like Vesuvius and Pompeii. Still a great drink menu, but ye be warned.

Ordered a Big Blue Protein and a Power Peach. Shortly after, the person and I who drank these had stomach pain and food poisoning. Went to let the manager know (proudly 4 years there).Unfortunately, she smiled and laughed at me and asked me details about the food poisoning. Lady I don't want to spell out for you which end your drink is coming out.After that she told me it's impossible for the problem to come from Jugo Juice because they make 30-40 drinks a day and have never had a single complaint. Which doesn't actually prove anything except she most likely won't be checking whatever she was serving to see if something went bad or is stored wrong.

I not sure anyone can go wrong with Jugo Juice when it comes to taste--because it is super delicious. I'm not entirely sure if its loaded with sugar since its so sweet, but I was assured that there was no added sugar in my drink. I really love their strawberry drink with banana I got yesterday, not to mention it was extremely filling.This location is in the mall and its convenient when I'm shopping and don't want to browse on an empty stomach. I will be coming back for sure.

Ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and the cup was not filled to the top. When you pay almost $10.00 for an orange juice that’s not even in a big cup, the expectation is to have at least a full cup…

The staff are always very kind and helpful. But the smoothies are super easy to make yourself at home, and they charge so much for it. It is a waste of money to buy anything from here, as it's overpriced and doesn't taste like anything special.

Everything is fine but I hate the cheap paper straws. I understand the environmental concern, but there are tons of better alternatives than paper straws.

The “Protein Smoothies” screen hardly comes for 10 secs and goes away - making it very hard for customers to decide.When approached the crew member they said “yeah it’s annoying we know that”I suggested that you should print and paste it somewhere and they are like “no we aren’t allowed to print hard copies, you can check online.Well, I checked it and posted this review with picture of Protein Smoothies.

As seen in previous comments, mask not over their mouths or nose ( as specified in government orders), hanging on their chins. One girl had her bluetooth headphone in taking calls today while serving me. How absurd is this? 2 girls were working around 12pm today, 1 put her mask back on the other literally stood there on her phone call with her white Bluetooth earbud ( only one in her ear) taking calls with no mask covering her mouth or nose simply around her chin.Ministerial order M012 had detailed explanations of how to wear a mask properly, 1) masks are mandatory province wide 2) masks are mandated in malls. The BC CDC also has instructions on how to properly wear a mask, which these girls did not read or are simply ignoring public health measures, which your company is then responsible for being they are breaching public health measures within your business.This is actually unacceptable and from reading previous reviews this isn't the first time you have been notified. Maybe this needs to be taken to work safe BC as a lack of action addressing and combating communicable disease within the workplace to staff and clientele. This is an obligation of employers in BC, take the health and safety of your staff and patrons more seriously because these girls are showing us, the public that safety appears to not be top priority and I'm sure it is for your business, however, as patrons it tells us a different story when we see things like this happening.Again, this was today 10/27/2021 around 12pm today 2 young girls working. I suggest this be discussed with these individuals.

I stood at the cash for at least 2 mins before the worker even acknowledged I was there. The other girl was just standing outside the door doing nothing. I got a wrap and after I finished paying she decided to tell me the grill wasn’t working. I had a cold wrap for breakfast. Awful customer service
