I don't usually write reviews, but when I do I assure you it is for a good reason.I hired TCVL for a move from Toronto to New York and it was one of the worst experiences. I urge anyone considering to use this company to think twice. You are better off using a name like Allied or Atlas as this company will mislead you and operates with no professionalism. In a nutshell, below is my experience:1. Quote: I was initially quoted a total charge based on 1,000lbs of items and a survey was done of my move. TCVL confirmed my move date of March 30th on this quote. However, at 5am on March 30th I was requoted for a total of 4,000lbs, 2 hours before the movers arrived. It is remarkably unprofessional to blind side a customer like this even after I requested for a survey weeks in advance. I would not have selected their service if I had received advance notice, not 2 hours before movers arrive. I was then told that pencils would be sharpened to reflect a better price given I was mislead – a 5% discount was provided on a ~US$8,000 bill. Clearly, the pencils were not sharp enough. The first quote was for US$2,200...2. Pick-up From Toronto: The movers at Brytor were great, however given that they arrived at 7am they didn’t have the appropriate tools or equipment as I was told the warehouse was closed and they could not pick the items up before the move. Items were thrown into any boxes and poorly labeled – there was no organization to the move. Shoes and clothes were tossed into the same boxes and no clothing item was hung. Everything was stuffed into boxes. I was communicated by TCVL that the movers would be packaging items professionally, including clothing in wardrobe boxes. This has led to me incurring several hundred dollars in dry cleaning costs after my suits, shirts and other items were damaged. The reason all of this happened was because the movers at Brytor didn't receive the job order until the night before and were not prepared. My move out date was confirmed weeks in advance yet movers were not notified until the night before.3. Drop-Off in New York: I had communicated to TCVL from the very beginning that I needed my move completed at a certain date. I booked my flights to New York based on this understanding. However, I was only told after arriving in NYC that movers are not available on weekends. I would think a competent employee would have known this beforehand. As a result of TCVL’s incompetence, I had to incur hotel charges to stay remotely.Overall, I urge anyone to never use TCVL. You'll definitely regret, as I did.

I used this company in my move between NYC to Vancouver in the middle of the pandemic. The collecting and delivery crews were great, helpful and very clean. I was impressed by how quick the were able to wrap up the articles and the furniture. I don't think anything broke or got missing. I will def use them again in the future if I have another move, but let's hope I don't have to move for a little bit now ;)

I thought a friend had recommended this company, but they had actually recommended Trans Canada Movers. I deeply regret my mistake. My goods were packed up in August, and here in October (7 weeks later) they still have not arrived and don't seem likely to reach me any time soon. Boston is just not that far from Toronto.I didn't even get the invoice until a week after my things were supposed to *arrive* in Boston, meaning they weren't even considering shipping my goods until after they were late. The most recent delay is because, despite my warnings, they did not arrange a parking permit in Boston for the moving van's arrival, so my goods have to wait in a warehouse here while the permit is processed. The actual packing-up of everything was well done (though very slow, and they were missing some needed materials) but the communication has been next to nothing, just endless waiting with no notification or explanation. I especially regret that I did not notice, on the contract provided, that they had checked Prepaid" rather than "Cash on Delivery"

I contracted with Transcanadian back in November for my move from Montreal to San Francisco. I was told that the shipment would take two weeks to arrive. Today marks two weeks and the shipment has not even left their warehouse in Montreal. I was told earlier this week that it would not even move until the first week in January. Had they been honest with me, I'd have moved myself by UHaul.

Overall I thought this company did a good job for our move from Vancouver, BC to Idaho. The movers on both ends were professional and worked hard. They packaged our stuff well. They were responsive to our inquiries. There was a month wait/delay however for reasons that were unclear to me, between when the goods were taken from our house to when they were delivered to Idaho, despite it being only an 8 hour drive.

Overall it was a positive experience. The Brytor team in Montreal did an excellent packaging job. Nothing was lost, broken or damaged. All members were very courteous and professional. IMS Logistics and more specifically Mr. Huynh were very cooperative in putting pressure on the overall organization helping to reduce transportation time to Louisiana and deliver ahead of schedule. The receiving associate in Baton-Rouge (LA) delivered all items as soon as received. The delivery team was also very courteous, professional and efficient.

We moved from Ottawa to Miami and everything went so much better than expected. The quote was affordable and great compared to competitors. The teams they sent out to help us finish packing and seal boxes, conduct inventory were very kind and organized. Communication was great throughout the whole process any time we had questions either by email or phone. They really took care of our belongings and made sure everything was properly labelled, packed and protected. They made it seamless and a breeze for us to import our things to the US from Canada. Once our belongings were received in Florida, the team contacted us to schedule delivery and even helped us unpack. Everything went smoothly and it really put our minds at ease having to deal with an international move. Thank you!! We would highly recommend this company and their team.

It is my first time writing a review. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE !!!! They are the worst. I have moved many times domestic and international but never had such a bad experience. Nothing about this move was positive. From the time they picked my goods to the time they delivered; all steps were HORRIBLE. They have so many agents involved and none of them know what’s going on and interestingly they all are on a different time zone. You get hold of 1 person and they will say oh no this I cannot help, you need to call someone else. You get hold of the second person and he will say okay I will try to call the first person and by that time the first person shift is over.Anyone considering using this company PLEASE think twice. You are better off using any other small or a big company. I can bet they all will be 2000 times better than TCVL. The below is a step-by-step explanation of my move.I hired TCVL for my move from Toronto to Boston. I have told them I need the stuff to be delivered by 5th June. Their CEO Mr. Jacques Monier assured us that it will delivered on time. Might be a +/- of a day or so. The pick up date was confirmed as 28th May, 2021.1. Quote: I have to move 1 bedroom apartment and was quoted a total charge based on 1,000lbs and then additional 115$/ hour for packing my belongings. They came to pick up my stuff on 28th May, 2021. They spend around 4 hrs in packing. On May 31st, the lady from Bryton International send me an updated quote for 3,000 lbs and then 7 hours for packing the belongings. I was charged for the time the movers got my my apartment and dropped my stuff to the warehouse. I called Jacques and he said that you had so much stuff in your apartment and the best we can do is instead of charging you for 7 hours, we can charge you for 6 hours.I would have NEVER selected their service if I knew that a company can cheat their customer that way.2. Wiring Money: The Chandara Lady at Bryton International send me to wire funds and have send us the invoice. I send the wire to the information on the invoice. My bank called me after 2 days telling me the swift code they have provided is wrong. I called Ms. Chandara and she insisted no that is correct. The communication happened for the whole day between me , my bank and Chandara. At the end of the day, Chandara accepted that it was a fault at their end and have provided me with the new swift code.3. Once this got sorted out, I have to call Chandara at least 5 times a day so that she can give me the date and the time the stuff will be delivered. She told me that the stuff can be delivered on weekend with an extra charge. I was never told that by Jacques that delivery on a weekend will charge extra. I told her how much extra money will be, she replied she don't know. I asked her okay what other day and time you can deliver and her reply It is a very busy time of a year
