Matthews Point Regional Park
Stunning beach! Park at 'Shore Access 15'. The access road to the west is not a great option; it's a steep and bumpy road that won't actually save you much time on your walk to the beach. The walk down wasn't as dangerous as we were led to believe. The biggest issue we faced was on a summer day the ground was dry and slippery. But the ropes that are there as hand rails are very helpful. Our six year old did it just fine.

Great beach, Sandy not rocky. It's on a very active channel with a strong rip ride. There's parking near the road access. With a about a 10 minute hike to the beach. The last few hundred meters are in a steep slope. There's ropes for a bit of a handle to help you get down to the beach. You should be in good physical shape to try and access this beach.
