Makeup by Erica Harris

Erica did a wonderful job on my bridal makeup. I do not normally wear make up and she absolutely nailed the natural look I requested, even despite me having zero knowledge/direction of how to achieve that. Erica made both me and my mother feel comfortable and beautiful and I would definitely recommend her for other brides.

I have known Erica for a very long time. When I was 12 years old I pranced into MAC, where she worked at the time, just to see her and have her do my makeup. She always did soft and pretty makeup, which I looooved. However, soft & pretty makeup is only one facet of the what she can do! Fast forward 10 years later, I had her do my wedding day makeup. Having known Erica for years, I really trusted her to do a splendid job and without fail, Erica worked her magic..what I love about Erica’s work is that it’s completely personalized to your tastes and styles. She knew that I wanted soft glam, so she did the perfect princess soft glam makeup for me. It lasted all day—no runs or smudges and no false lash lifts (crucial!!!!). Also, might I add that she is a pro at applying false lashes. Erica is the only makeup artist who I trust to do my makeup well and to my liking because she is so precise and experienced. She had an eye for what looks good and is super knowledgeable about products. Trust no other but Erica to make your makeup dreams come true..she makes mine come true!!

Erica is the absolute best MUA I have worked with in Victoria as well as the mainland area. Erica has been a part of almost every milestone in my life and im forever grateful to have her make my special days perfect.Erica is warm, she’s kind, she’s punctual, she’s supportive and just does the most amazing job. I’ve been to prom, I’ve been pregnant and also got married all with Erica being a part of these milestones- and I have so much trust every time I see her to know I’m going to love the way I look and FEEL. I could not recommend Erica more. Not only is she extremely talented she’s the sweetest person! She made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier with my makeup as well as the amazing job she did on my mother and bridesmaids. I had my make up done by Erica for my sisters wedding and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life. My wedding was the next year and I literally tried to choose a wedding date based off of Erica’s availability, only to realize she was already booked for the summer. I wound up setting a wedding date and booking another artist. I sent my deposit and quietly sulked knowing no one could make me feel the way Erica did. THEN! A miracle happened. Erica posted on Instagram she had a cancellation; I quickly reached out hoping it was the weekend I needed her. It was! I was thrilled! I S ent an email to the artist I had initially booked, lost my deposit and didn’t even care because I had just officially booked the best MUA in the world (biased but also facts)On our wedding day, Erica was professional and efficient. She did 5 faces before turning me back into my most beautiful self. Her technique is lightweight, sun smart, tear resistant, long lasting and overall comfortable. I rarely wear any makeup let alone face makeup and lashes but the way she paints is something special. In fact I loved it so much I slept in it and wore it the next day, still looking like a million bucks. It’s also just an absolute joy to be around Erica, she’s so easy and fun to talk to. I wish I had a fancier life that justified more make up appointments, I’ll work on it.Long story short. Book Erica, you will not be disappointed!

I was lucky enough to have Erica do my makeup for my wedding. I had been looking for a fairly simple look, but done well and I found that and so much more!The morning of my wedding I was a bundle of nerves. I couldn’t eat, I was shaky.. until Erica arrived and I sat down with her for the first time. We hadn’t gotten to do a test run, but we had exchanged photos and emails for months, and I felt confident she knew what I was looking for. What I didn’t know is how she would completely turn my morning around.Chatting with her like an old friend, I was able to completely relax. Not only was she able to execute a flawless classic look (that lasted from morning till midnight, lips and lashes included!) she was able to connect with me on a deeper level and fill me with the confidence needed to face such a big day. Photo shoots and wedding vows, I was able to face them all feeling and looking like my best self, and it’s all thanks to Erica.

Erica is an absolute GEM!!! I first met Erica when she came to my house to do my wedding makeup trial. It was like I was welcoming a friend inside. There is a vibe about Erica that makes you so comfortable and happy. That right there is a win!! Besides being a gem, Erica is a superb makeup artist!! Like holy wow kind of magic. I am not big on makeup, I don't wear much, mostly because I have no idea what I am doing. Erica was able to apply makeup to highlight ME, not cover me up. I was in love with my face and her skills. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Erica is absolutely amazing at what she does (AND is just an amazing human too), myself and my 4 bridesmaids used her for wedding makeup. As soon as I had my trial with her, I knew she would be the perfect person for our big day. She 10000% knows how to compliment and highlight the best parts or your favourite parts of your face with what she does. She was so much fun the morning of the wedding, I could not have asked for a better person for the task. You NEED Erica Harris for your wedding day and ALL makeup needs.

Do not hesitate a single second to book Erica for your event!!! Erica did makeup for our September 2022 wedding, and throughout the process, from bridal trial to the wedding day, she was amazing. With consistent communication and flexibility leading up to the day, even when I kept changing my mind on what I wanted, she was a true anchor in the process throughout the months. I could tell by meeting her at the bridal trial (where we were jamming to Kelis, laughing and having a great time) that she would bring the same energy to the wedding day. The makeup that ensued (on myself, bridesmaids and Mom), was absolutely stunning. I couldn't be happier with both her amazing personality and presence and talent, it was a true highlight of the experience for me. Thank you Erica!!!

Erica was such a pleasure to work with! She was so easy to communicate with over email and was a delight in person. She instantly put me at ease at our trial and did such a lovely job with my bridal makeup. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly!
