More than 2 years ago I visited him , I was anxious and depressed, he prescribes seroquel which is for schizophrenia and I feel very bad side effect I crying and my body had a very bad tremor. I send him an email explaining the side effects , no reply , I called him several time and left a voice mail, no reply . My family brought me to hospital and I stayed there more than 3 weeks.

Extremely incompetent and should not be allowed to practice. My family member with schizophrenia who was stable was treated by him after her psychiatrist passed away. He diagnosed her with different condition and took her off medication she had been taking for almost 15 years. She decompensated badly and had major breakdown. He destroyed the family because of his wrong analysis.

Unfortunately there is no non star" to give him. One of my relatives had some meeting with him (he does not like to reveal his identity

They stopped returning CURRENT patients.. over 1 month of calling. Haven't even spoke to anyone since family doctor 2nd referall. Avoid at all costs, ask your doctor for another psych.

He is one of the best doctors I have met. He has a strong work ethics and trustworthy! I missed my appointment, he called and followed up, and sent my prescription to the pharmacy! Apart from that, his medication has really worked out after I changed 2 specialist within 5 years. He has been 3th specialist and I highly recommend him!

Had my first phone call with him yesterday, our phone call was about 10 minutes, and I'll be honest I've never had a phone call that short with a psychiatrist. I told him i have anxiety and depression, as well as mood fluctuations which lead me to have shutdowns sometimes and mild paranoia. He told me it sounds like I'm overreactive and have no self confidence. Not only this, but I told him I took cipralex years ago, and it gave me very bad heart palpitations, and at the very end of our phone call, he talked about putting me back on it. I told him I have a heart condition called AFIB and about 10 seconds later asks me if I have any medical conditions. Just didn't really feel like he listened very well. I wish psychiatrists would stop immediately pushing pills. Considering my heart condition the pills I go on need to be thought out as some SSRIs are known to effect the heart in people like me. Just got the feeling it was all about the money, not about my wellbeing. Going to be finding another psychiatrist. I suggest anyone looking at these reviews for help do the same.

He is insanely rude and I don’t believe any positive reviews i’m seeing. He schedulesmultiple people at the same time, he had forgotten my appointments at times when I have commuted over 45 minutes to see him without him being there, he told me his doctors notes are $200 in cash, he told me I was lying about one of my panic attacks, he has neglected to send my prescription over a half a dozen times and he doesn’t even look at you when you are speaking. Before I went to visit him I saw many negative reviews and I should have listened.

Like most people reviewing this doctor he should get a zero star for wasting peoples time. I visited him for diagnoses for stress, anxiety. He asked about 15 questions and told me he would fax a prescription to my Walmart location. He never did it. Walmart faxed him requesting it 2 times and I left him 2 messages. He never called me back or sent Walmart the prescription. Needless to say I canceled my follow up meeting. He also double booked me at the exact same time as another patient. I arrived moments before so I went in first and the other guy had to wait in the hallway. Dr Showraki runs his business out of his home. He is not professional and doesn't care about his patients. He is just making money off your OHIP card and your visits. I would not recommend this guy.

If I can give him 0 start I won't mind, he is mood disorder specialist.. all he cares about to describe a medicine without listening to u .. he has no assistant so when u call him or leave a msg or emails you get no reply. First time I visited him he prescribed a medicine that none of pharmacists in Shoppers have ever heard about it. Then they realized that it is brand new and have never been in market before the medicine is so expensive even with insurance coverage and they were surprised that why the doctor prescribed for me !!! I went to him was telling him that I did a blood test and it shows that I have physical disease that effecting my emotion he cares less about what I am saying and then he told me clearly that I don't care about your stories that you are going through I am just gonna change the medicine !!!
