Meat Section was sub par. Not one rib eye steak. Bunch of garbage cuts. One cashier. Manager was horsing around not doing anything when his store is understaffed.Not really worth doing a major shop there. How about get rid of your stupid wine section also.

We attended Save on Foods, Parksville, last Tuesday. $1.49 day!! Level of customer service was most unsatisfactory. The line ups at the checkouts were maxed out, and then some. Absolute disgrace.We were told by a staff member that all checkouts were open. our suggestion was........have 'packers' at all the checkouts should you be unable to add to your number of checkouts. We well remember Woodward's $1.49 day and although busy, customer service remained top notch.

Everything in one place!Laundry items, toiletries, hair supplies, fresh food, frozen food, food buffet, EXCELLENT WINE SELECTION, bakery, deli, cheeses, desserts, household and novelty items! Smoothies, breakfast sandwich and a coffee for $4!!I could have spent an hour taking photos! Self checkout is cool

The store was clean, some shelves were a little bare and needed empty cardboard boxes taken away, staff was polite, but they only had 1 checkout open aside from the self checkout section and the line up grew quite large before a second till opened briefly.

Wow. I am shocked by the level of rudeness and attitude I received today while trying to order flowers for a friend in Parksville who’s father had just passed away suddenly. I called today May 11th at 10:30am and made my simple bouquet order and was made to feel like A) I was really bothering the floral dept woman who answered my call and B) I was a complete idiot when I asked a couple of simple questions. I don’t think asking what time of day the deliveries are made and what will be in the bouquet Im paying for is too much to ask?A little friendliness….and perhaps a touch of compassion when someone is ordering flowers after a death would be nice.I have ordered many, many flowers for people over the years for all kinds of reasons. I won’t be ordering from Save On Foods in Parksville again. You need to remove the woman taking floral orders.

Best Save-On-Foods I have been too. The staff who stock produce are always very friendly. One gentleman even cut up a banana for our son to enjoy during our shopping. Couldn't ask for anything more of a grocery store then friendly staff and well stocked shelves so well done Save On and staff.

Large selection of food stuffs BUT how come they are a good 30% higher than Quebec and Ontario prices for identical brands. To be accurate, they should call themselves Spend More -On - Foods"."

Great rewards program and worth working it; especially with today's grocery expenses. We fell in love with their 'Tuxedo Truffle Mousse Cake'. 650Gm@$13.95* Members price. Could feed 4 people. Impressive after dinner dessert. It's a whopping big treat for 2 !!! You couldn't make it for that price. Champagne Quality with Beer budget. A very diversified and progressive grocery store.

This is the nicest Save on Foods I've ever shopped in. The cashiers and deli staff are so helpful and friendly. I like the layout of the store and it seems bigger than most I've been in compared to other towns. I think they could use more service counter staff. Only one person there and seems over worked. I also wish that there was a separate booth for the lotto. It takes up way too much time.
