Creative Kids Childcare Learning Centre Inc

My kids have attended this daycare for 1 year, one in the infant program, and one in the 3-5 program. I would recommend both programs to anyone. They have every toy imaginable to cater to every child's individual interest. Surprises on birthdays. Lots of time outside. In the past year, the 3-5's had field trips: to the pumpkin patch, cinema and Science World. The staff are so creative and dedicated to making every holiday magical for the children; my child still talks about Santa making a stop at their classroom, elf on the shelf, leprechauns, you name it. The teachers in both programs encourage the kids to be independent (ie: putting on their own shoes, rain gear, jackets, opening their lunch kits, putting things away, etc.). I feel my older child is very prepared for Kindergarten, with the confidence and independence to do many things on her own.Whenever I had any concerns, the teachers were patient and communicative, and I felt heard. I would also echo the comments from other reviews that my kids did not want to leave at pick-up at times because they were having so much fun!

Kids have been going here for years now and is where they have built some of their strongest friendships. Now with one in school and excelling there is no doubt that Creative Kids helped get them ready for success in the school system. Would, and have recommended people to bring their children to CK. Whether rain or shine the kids can be found playing outside to build their motor skills and to keep them active.

Both of my children attend(ed) Creative Kids. The oldest has aged out and our youngest is still there and we are collectively going on 4.5 years. We have had an outstanding experience with the center and the staff. They truly love the kids and do an outstanding job giving them a safe environment from which to learn and enrich their development. We have made many friends with other parents as well. There is a true community feel here and there is nothing more telling than when your little one comes home from a long day there and can't wait to get back there in the morning. I would not hesitate to recommend Creative Kids as an excellent choice for child care.

I was a teacher at this daycare for over 17 years. The only reason I left was I retired. I wouldn't have stayed so long if I didn't trust the management and staff at the centre. They provide great experiences for the children in their care from the very knowledgeable staff. The Staff is always looking a new ways to provide great teachable moments as the children grow in their care. The staff is loving, caring and very trust worthy. I would recommend this centre to anyone that is looking for care in the POCO area.

I am very fortunate to have found Creative Kids daycare. Being a single Dad with four kids, two of them about to start school and a full time job, I needed to have somewhere reliable for my girls to go to after school and develop their social skills. It was stressful each day trying to rush away from work to pick them up. CK truly saved me a lot of stress. A lot of their friendships today were developed being at Creative Kids, the best part was it was right on the school property, so they could walk over as they got older. I never felt that my girls were ever in any danger and treated disrespectfully. I owe the staff a great deal of gratitude for all their help and support I received for the time I needed care. I have nothing but respect for all the daycare staff that dedicate their time to take care of our children.

Wow I spoke with someone name Heather today from creative kids Port Coquitlam and wow was it frustrating for me to talk to her! She sounded so stressed out and just saying that this Centre is privately owned and that she has no information to give me except that they’ll call me when I spot opens! Asked her to give me an approx. time and she said that she couldn’t do that! I mean it turned me off from wanting to send my kid here! Parents out there, please be careful! If a girl like Heather could sound so unpleasant about simple questions I wanted to ask her... it just makes you wonder! I mean she could have directed me to the right person if she is not! I am not sure who the manager of this facility is but would love to talk to them. She even told me that they need to sue other creative kids centre cause the name was stolen from them??!!! I mean this is not even why I was calling!!!

This centre is extremely child-centred and focuses on learning and socialization of children. They have taken many steps during covid to ensure the safety of the children as well as the staff so that the centre can remain running. With this unprecedented time of course there will be some trial and error, but the centre focuses on their families and doing all that they can to accommodate everyone. I previously worked at the centre but due to my career (and my schooling) I have moved to a substitute position. I wouldn't work at any other centre the staff are kind and fun to be around. The owner is constantly focusing on how to improve the centre and often updates toys and learning materials. She spares no expense either. I would 100% recommend this centre and feel saddened by the negative reviews on here, I do not believe they are accurate at all.They also offer gradual entry programs so you can see for yourself how caring and loving the teachers are. The manager is very quick with replying and even answers phone calls and emails during her time off. I encourage you to ignore the negative reviews and investigate for yourself.

My son goes to this daycare and has had nothing but wonderful experiences. The staff are so great to him and really great to us. They always answer all of my questions and make us feel at ease. Would recommend 10/10

The management was heavily arrogant and interfering in guardianship family matters. Refused to communicate with me as a guardian contrary to provisions of a provincial court order . Spoke of me with disregard in from the of my children which my children told me immediately and were deeply confused. The staffing were habitually on their phones and constantly bossing the older children to clean and mind the younger ones . My children literally begged to be removed and were utterly relieved after the fact . There were reports of exclusion in activities and preferential treatment given to certain children. Also the additional problem of the staff having their own children in the Center and the dynamics from that as well.. my children were adamant it’s to date the worst care they were given and that they wave off reported injuries downplaying and being dismissive.

I’ve had the pleasure of working at Creative Kids for a little over 6 months. Though it is not a very long time, I know based off of previous experience in other child care facilities, that creative kids is ethical and gives each and every child the care they deserve and incredible tools to thrive. It is delightful getting to know and love these children. The owner Anet and the manager Charlotte truly have the children's best interests at heart and ensure it is carried out through each and every staff member.
