Got 3 pair of nice pants and had only tried on the one pair which were too long so I took them all in to be hemmed. When I went to pick them up they told me only one pair had needed the hemming and sure enough they were right. Easily could have ripped me off but didn't. Great prices, job well done. Highly recommended.

Dropped off a pair of pants to get belt loops added, was told it would take a week, showed up a week later, pants hadn't been touched. :(I'm giving them 2 stars because the ladies were very lovely & by all accounts their work is excellent. I wish I had experienced it!

This is the last known business for any product/service where the price will take you by surprise and remind you of a simpler time where bullcrap was not so everpresent. I found this great CK wool jacket at VV. Zipper was shot. Took it to Kay's. $12. Twelve... dollars...new coat. Not $42.50 because, you know 'supply chain issues' and 'input costs'". Twelve dollars."

I've used Kay's Sewing for a couple of years and have no problem with the quality of work BUT when it comes to them keeping the deadlines, they are always late. My things are never done on the day they say it will be done, they have trouble finding my things when I show up and now the price has increased since the last time I was there and it hasn't been that long between me dropping things off. They offer no discount for asking you to come back a second time to get your clothes. Seriously thinking of going somewhere else.

I've been coming here forever and will continue to bring everything here forever.They have helped me with everything from leather to wedding dresses.Adjusting and fixing cheap clothes to be more sturdy and doing a flawless job with very expensive delicate clothes.Very grateful to have this lovely little shop in the city.

Basically. The way it works here is you pay them more than they ask for because they give very generous pricing when they could ask more. Also, they are kind and compassionate people and that is not easy to find. Most of all, they tell the truth. I have found...with me anyway....and that's rare.

Kay's sewing, what can I say went there back in March most fabulous ever! I ordered my uniform to be tailored and turned out amazing! The people in the office are so elegant and friendly. The quality of work is fantastic!
