As a trans person it's really good that I did all my research beforehand. The doctor gave me a bland/vague once over about the hormones affects etc. I already knew all of this and more.I was started on a very low dosage, which isn't a bad thing. But it's been a year and I've noticed almost no changes and have been requesting for an increase. To do so I was told to call the receptionists and ask them to fax bloodwork to a lab. They don't pick up. The fact that the doctor sends me to the front desk for something so simple? Whatever. Also at the beginning I expressed the desire for top surgery. Since I've been on T for almost a year I should be viable. I call doctor about it (had to wait several months for 3 minute appointment) and I was again told to call reception and ask for an appointment with a nurse practitioner. It's been several weeks and I'm not getting my calls returned.Very disappointing. I struggle with depression, anxiety, bpd/did, and ptsd. My anxiety and stress over my transitioning is more than it should be considering I'm the one that has to make an appointment and talk to a doctor just to be told to call reception. And then calls are not returned. It's honestly depressing. An already difficult transition made twice as hard because of the lack of care and interest the staff have for a patient.

I've been a patient here since 2013. Initially they provided really great patient doctor service till about 2016 from there on it has been all downhill. I've had some neglectful interactions with a couple of them, especially with the nurse practioners. I understand we all need money, but for the love of God put the patient first.

I don't agree with this being the only Transgender source in St Catharines and surrounding area. Patients have to call to inquire follow up appointments, blood work..etc.. Not ALL but most of the doctor's and receptionists, not only speaking from personal experience. Do not have enough knowledge about hormonal therapy and have even argued with patient's. I would make an 8 hour road trip just to have my doctor back in Montreal again. I don't feel like this facility takes care of their trans patient's or help them be less confused or understand a situation better involving hormonal therapy and will just send you to the general hospital.

This place has changed my life. I've worked with an outreach worker who is working their butt off to help me when I'm a total wreck, a nurse practitioner who has since moved to another practice who was the first to listen to me about a lot of things, a councillor who helped me so much, and now a new nurse practitioner who I am looking forward to getting to know. It is sometimes difficult to get a hold of the front desk, but I've had my calls returned promptly as of late.

Always had a great experience with everyone here; whether it be a receptionist, a nurse, the nurse practitioner or doctor. The only issue I've had so far is one of my calls not being returned. Niagara is very lucky to have a LGBTQIA-specific healthcare provider.EDIT: I recommend calling early in the morning, within the first couple hours after they open. If you end up calling them during their lunch break, or you get sent to voicemail, don't bother leaving a message and just call again at a later time.

My wife called twice got an answer with is good the first time she called was somewhat decent for a Tuesday but because we are so busy with dealing with FACS family court and looking for a new place to move to we forget to call week in advance to book an appointment, so she calls back to re book it to a better date they started disrespecting her stating you should of a week before. So I started treating them the same way than they turned around and told her if your partner shows up with that attitude we’ll call the cops. Well guess what we are not going to waste our time again here. Your better off going to a walk in clinic than these guys because I never going to suggest this place to anyone if the front desk are going to be disrespectful to clients. My wife and I are just as busy as these guys. If I could rate this a 0 star I would.

Wow. Just wow. I called 2 days ago, had to leave a message because nobody answers the phone. I requested help for my mental health. Two days and nobody has bothered to call me back. Welp, I guess tomorrow I’ll start looking for a new doctor.

Not accommodating to patients needs. There is patient rights and mission posted on the wall. But when you walk in. Mostly you are not respected, not heard at all. I booked time off work come to seek for help, but instead of client centred care, they send you home with some blood work and ask you to come back again…….

Had a Nerve test done and my nurse was absolutely amazing. We had great chemistry, we cracked a bunch jokes and laughed through most of my appointment. She was very professional, and her jokes kept me at ease while under going the nerve testing.

I delivered some stuff from Costco to them ,They are deceitful liars I don't know how they will be honest with their patients. very bad management. They put a high tip because their order is very huge . When I delivered it, they canceled the tip. They think they are smart, but the truth is they are failed. They could not put a tip, but this is the way of uncivilized people.my issue is when you put high tip automatically instacart they going to lower the delivery fee for me.
