Dropped in to inquire about buying a macro lens. Whether it was my braids and beaded clip or just this store's policy, both attendants walked me directly over to the used/pre-owned equipment and began looking through the case. There are a lot of assumptions about Indigenous people inherent in that choice.Edited to add a response to the manager's comment below: Their reply significantly mis-characterizes the interaction. When I entered the store, the employees who interacted with me didn't ask me anything. I went up to them and said only that I was interested in purchasing a macro lens. They didn't say a word to me, only walked directly over to the used equipment. When I realized it was used, I said, I would vastly prefer to purchase new equipment". At this point

What a great experience , went in with recommendation and was not disappointed. The sales team was knowledgeable, that’s what one needs in a high tech shop. He was not pushy and was open to discussion and giving alternatives. The only thing I would like them to surely think about is , workshops on DSLR and maybe night photography. Will surely be back soon.Had gone to pick up a tripod ,will be back to buy the wide angle lens.

Placed an online order for an R mount adaptor and two used items. Waited just under two weeks for the order to ship, as they said it was busy and orders may be slow.I ended up reaching out and asking for an update on when it would be shipping. I was told that the adaptor was backordered (and had been for awhile), and both the used items were already gone.In the two weeks I was waiting for shipping, no one bothered to reach out and make any of that known to me. Really disappointing.Will give one extra star because at least customer service is quick to respond.

Not recommended for passport pictures staff didn’t seem to really know what they were doing.

Would give 0 star but Google won't let me. Bad service. Check the newest reviews and you can see many similar thoughts. Dude it's a camera store, people come here willing to pay hundreds if not thousands. And you hire staff that service even worse than Walmart? Definitely won't come again and won't recommend it to anyone.

Helpful, informed, and friendly staff. Needed a digital passport picture with a specific resolution for an online application had already been to shoppers, but it didn't work out. Here, they have more options, and you can get the digital option in a more environmentally conscious way so you don't feel guilty about the single use USB.

If you know what you're buying the place is fine. If you need advice or suggestion there is no expertise. No difference between Walmart and Henry's at this time.

I have been shopping at the winnipeg location for quite awhile now and seem to get on with the staff quite well. From my experiences there I have never been let down on customer service, even when I make a mistake they do what they can to aid me. Most of the staff is fairly knowledgeable about many photography aspects, but as it is a large ever changing field, they can't know everything, but with multiple staff available, someone usually has an answer.Eric, the main staff member I deal with, has been a fantastic help. He will go over and beyond to ensure I understand the details about particular products and accessories. His no fluff" approach is definitely appreciated when a product just doesn't hold up well or will not suit my needs. With my recent acceptance and participation in a college photography program

Amazing customer service and different varieties available in Brand new as well as used cameras. Highly recommend

John was very friendly and accomodating and was respectful of my budget while shopping for a lens. Ended up grabbing a lens that was perfect for what I wanted (bird photos). He even recommended the next step up when my budget allows. Thanks John!! I will be back :)
