Port Moody Police Department

Port Moody police are sooo good. I have called a few times to report some stuff going on and each time they have shown up quickly and working as a team. We are lucky to have such a great police force and a city council that invests in this valuable city asset. Keep up the great work.

Great bunch of police officers who are professional and treated my family and I with respect.They were very personable and took the time to answer any questions we had.Definitely recommend!

Port Moody do not investigate historic child abuse cases. I cannot give this police force even one star, but my post will not be posted unless I do. Disgusting. This should be three billboards in Port Moody. This might happen. Maybe there would be justice, for lives ruined.

One of my favorite police departments in the lower mainland. Great team that serves and protects our beautiful City of the Arts, Port Moody. Met some great officers over the years and they were always dependable and professional. Always used the safest tactics to protect the public during the most trying of times. Thank you for serving our community. You folks rock.

About two weeks ago my young son and I were driving on Mariner during rush hour traffic when our car broke down. While waiting for BCAA to arrive, we watched hundreds of cars drive by. Only one car stopped to make certain we were alright. A true gentleman by the name of Dave pulled over and asked if we needed help. I found out Dave is a Port Moody Police Officer. He was off duty and on his way home. It was getting late and I told him we'd be ok if he needed to leave, but he stayed with me and my son until help arrived. Honestly, it was such a relief to have him wait with us. Talk about acting above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Dave!

Extremely unhelpful staff at the department. I went in for a background check for my PR application and was given the run around. Do yourself a favor and go with a private company, it’s not worth it.I go in and was told they only do that on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. So I come back next week and they tell me they are all booked, no spots available. Meanwhile nothing is happening in the whole place, it’s empty, not a soul in sight just three women behind the glass counter twiddling their thumbs. They now tell me I need an appointment so I booked one and came back the following week, so I get there and they tell me they tell me I need the one page description of what was need for immigration. Okay, I had brought it the other two times but failed to bring it today so I get on the phone with my wife so she can text me a picture of the document to my phone and we can print it here. Now she tells we that it must be the original document which must be copied in front of the cameras. I call BS and say “what original?” The page was printed at home on my personal printer, there is no “original”. Of course the woman behind the counter hearing none of this, she just repeatedly invited me to go home and get it. By then I had to get out of there and get to work, totally pathetic.

Terrible people to deal with! They are definitely not there to serve and protect. Your better off dealing with your situation your self!!!
