Absolutely incredible service, atmosphere and food. I had the duck breast, seasoned and cooked perfectly with a spicy sweet potato puree. The lava cake for dessert was amazing to finish the meal. Amazing wine selection as well. Will definitely be back soon.

Came here with my girlfriend for Val’s dinner.The ambience was really good and it wasn’t too noisy. I would have liked more space between the seats for privacy.The waiters were nice and friendly, the ambience was really good and not super noisy.I had the Rigatoni pasta which was well made with the short rib. It tasted really good I’d give it an 8.5/10. I had a 9oz glass of red wine to go along side my dinner.My partner had a Virgin mojito mocktail with the grilled sea bream and it was well made.Also an 9/10.Ambience and service - 9/10Food - 9/10Noise - 7/10Overall - 8.5/10I would definitely come back here for a dinner date.

Was looking for a nice place to celebrate my wife's birthday and decided to give Bymark a try. Well everyone is very glad that I did. Pleasant decor, attentive service and lovely food. Nothing to fault. A big thank you to all the staff that made it such a wonderful experience. Thoroughly recommend dining here.

Highly overrated. This is a very average to disappointing restaurant overallThere was some hype about this restaurant, so I wanted to give it a try and so took my husband and four of our friends here for his birthday.To start, the staff were not educated or trained on the menu. When our table asked our waiter for suggestions, he was completely oblivious - he didn't even have one recommendation. We also had to beg for water 3 times over the course of the dinner. Similarly, when we asked for recommendations on cocktails/drinks, the waiter replied, saying, im into traditional drinks

It was a very delightful experience. The price is absolutely worth the wonderful food.• The Calamari and Octopus in Cashew and Coconut paste was so well presented and so delicious (4.5/5)• The beef Burger was medium rare and juicy on the inside (4.5/5)• Veal Schnitzel was extremely crunchy on the outside (4/5)• The dessert was by far the by best dessert experience of my life. Caramelized popcorn with ice cream and cheesecake. The presentation in itself was wow. (5/5)

We visited Bymark restaurant for dinner on Saturday night. Flavors are simple but great, your palette will be surprised by different textures of all meals. We enjoyed shrimp tacos, burger with truffles, duck and oysters. Small dessert squares were brought as a compliment with a Happy Anniversary note, I have mentioned that this is our special night upon booking and they never forgot about it, good job!

Great place to have a business meeting, especially in the basement during the summer heat. Generous space between tables and conversations can remain more discreet. I had the veal schnitzel and tomato burrata which was excellent. Great selection of wines to top it off with the great ambiance.

Edit - the management reached out to me about this review to discuss it and take the feedback.First time. Special occasion. Always wanted to go. Good food but not amazing. Decent service but not great. Decent menu but not exciting. Decent wine menu but not dynamic. Not worth the price tag. I am a big fan of Mark.

Came here on Valentines day.Tables a bit too close together. Im small and i had both tables touching my legs when getting up to the bathroom. i felt bad i was hitting the plates of the couple next to me. Also because of the proximity it was loud and you can hear conversations on both sides. Hard to get intimate on date night valentines day They must have been short staffed because took little longer to get our orders, looked busy.Duck skin could have been rendered a little more. A little chewy. Servers too busy to even ask. Still delicious tho. Dessert was amazing. Honestly the best part of the dinner.Overall still great place, I get it must have been very busy being Valentines day. Food was tasty like last time.

Bye Bye, Mark. Mediocre service. Average food. Missing ingredients. Three stars - MAX. :(Started with our waiter refusing to recommend or highlight ANYthing. He Only said “this is bymark, everything is good”. That’s so Lazy! We wanted to try 10+ apps and 5-6 mains. He couldn’t not recommend anything?!?! That’s Lazy service.He took the drink order of three, and forgot to ask other guests what they want to drink. And had a bit of a chip on his shoulder for us. It was a birthday party, and he service killed the mood of our celebration.Average lobster grilled cheese - nothing you couldn’t make at home with some good lobster. Too much mayo. Look at our fish tacos compared to other pics. Missing ingredients! Nearly every dish was missing ingredients from what the menu outlines. Drinks as well. That is crazy for a $24 drink. Average fries, average salads, below average steak and drinks. Shawarma chicken, good not great. No trace of actual middle eastern seasoning. Octopus - terribly overcooked. Beef tartar - zero seasoning. Mashed potato were good, not great. So, I don’t get it. I do not get the hype. I worked at TD years ago for many years and always wanted to go. This is NOT fine dining. And was uninspired. We had over $700+ bill for 6 people. Some items were good (yellowfin, dumplings, burrata) but ever dish lacked seasoning, and fries came out cold. Twice. Drinks were missing ingredients (like the cherry in the CHERRY David in the pictures). Even the kale salad was so very basic - nothing special. Kale. Mayo dressing. Chick peas. Big disappointment.Overall this was very underwhelming. No difference in some of the dishes you can order at Kelsey’s or a big gross chain resto. Sorry, Mark McEwan, but this was very disappointing and if Mark actually was present to taste our dishes there is NO way he would approve. I’ve eaten at over a dozen Michelin star restos and the top spots across Canada. This should not be making any top 50 lists list anytime soon. Go eat at or Amal or Byblos or Mamakas Taverna or a dozen other better places if you want delicious food. Especially for a party. Bymark needs a serious makeover in the execution and service.I won’t be back.
