Disappointing experience the stylist I saw didn’t listen to what I wanted she cut my haircut shorter then I had asked for 2 or three inches she cut five or six off I also told her I wanted it long enough to braid for summer she ignored that and cut it so short I will not be able to braid it till at least the end of the summer

Shelby understood my hair type, and knew what I wanted. The shop is very clean and professional, they offer spa treatments and nail care. Recommended to me by a friend and I'm recommending this place to more.

Went there for the first time today and got an acrylic fill with gel polish. Everyone that worked there were incredibly friendly.I felt very welcome. My nails turned out beautifully, I'd have to say it's the best my nails have been done in Peterborough! The technician pays very close attention to detail and does not rush at all!I highly recommend going here

I am writing this review due to extremely dissatisfied experience i had with their services. I got my nails done for a family function. I had scheduled an appointment a week in advance to ensure that there is no rush. However, David did a very bad job and seemed like he was in rush due to a large wedding party that was getting ready at the salon. I phoned Alicia and told her about the poor job and she promised to redo the nails week later and told me that they will call me back.No one called me and infact i had to call them and remind that they need to redo my nails. The lady over the phone was rude and infact was telling me that i am rude. Nonetheless even the redo was poor. I am so unhappy and will never recommend nor go back. The only 1 star they deserve is atleast they redid my nails albeit very poorly.You dont keep going on the nail over and over again, that gives it a smudged look. If that’s how I want I can do that at home.The red polish is the first appointment and the pink is the redo.REVIEW UPDATE:Hey alicia, 1 week after the “redo” thats what it looks like. Please stop wasting everyone’s hard earned money. David should not be called a nail technician. He does a terrible job. I will make sure that everyone I know in Peterborough will not be given good reviews about you. If you really wanted to fix the issue you should have contacted me after i posted all those pics, but you do not treat your clients well.Update- Hiding my facebook review would not hide your flaws. Apparently they blocked people from writing reviews on facebook after they feared getting less ratings. Great place for haircuts. Clean and modern.. The girls do an awesome job. Prices are also fair. Walk-ins are welcome, but it's also not to hard to get an appointment. If you're not sure who to go with. I recommended Lisa M. She has been my hairdresser for years, and always does an exceptional job.

First time getting my haircut here, it was excellent. I was able to get an appointment with short notice. I asked for Liisa who was recommended to me by my wife who had a great experience with her. Liisa's work is magic, she is like a hair-whisperer / fairy. My request was a challenge as a man going from very long hair to short, with a specific style in mind that I presented to her via an image on my phone. She looked at the image for 5 seconds, and then proceeded to manifest it onto my head in no time. I look exactly like the picture I chose, it's eary and unexpected. Love the haircut and must recommend Liisa to the highest degree. And the pricing is very reasonable to boot.

Sorry this is a long one!!Not a place I will ever go back to. I had my hair done about 3 years ago there. Was happy with it. Hadn't been back since. Let hair grow out due to covid. Anyway, went in for a very simple wash and cut. Got a young girl and right away thought OH OH! I was right! She would not listen to how I was explaining the haircut that I actually had a picture of, and kept showing her!! She kept taking more and more 'chunks' off of my hair, telling me 'don't worry!! I'll layer it all nice as soon as I get the bulk of it off!!' An hour and a half later she was still cutting chunks trying to make it look layered. Finally told her it was enough! A shoulder length haircut turned into spots that had maybe an inch of hair!! And other spots much longer! Now I am somewhat shy and not very confrontational, so I said nothing! Just wanted to be done!! Was very surprised none of the other girls had noticed!!Then came my pedicure. Simple 'BASIC Pedicure (with polish). I sat there for more than half an hour with cotton drenched in acetone and tin foil on my toes because I had gel polish on. Which I had said to the lady when I phoned in to make appointment. I have to say, wasn't quite the experience I have usually had in other places, but I have to admit the young lady was very nice, and gave a great leg and foot massage. That should have rung a bell maybe!? (Price wise!) All in all, a wash and cut and pedi with polish took 3 and 1/2 hours!! And cost me 118.65!!! (no tip included) Basic pedi with polish was only supposed be $40.00. So I guess I paid for a $73.00 hack job on my hair! Needless to say, after I got out to my car and actually had a better look at what she did, I not only cried, I went straight to another hair dressers salon that I should have just gone to in the first place!! And paid (again) to have them fix it!! Although she did not have much to work with, Angela was able to make what was left of my hair, presentable looking!! Pic 1 is what I asked for. I got my biogel nails done there a few days ago, and it's perfect! I did nails extensions in the other place before and I was not really satisfied. Keisha did it so well, the shape is perfect and shellac looks really good. I definitely will come again!

On Sat, Oct 15 I went to Alicia’s for one colour highlights and a cut. Tara did a wonderful job and is a great stylist. She did my highlights first and said we would discuss the cut I wanted after the colour. Made sense to me! Except she gave me full highlights at $150 then cut my hair up to my shoulders and charged me over $200 b4 tip.I believe I was overcharged. The most I have ever paid for the same service at other salons is $150. Alicia’s is too expensive!!

I contacted them regarding my son's first haircut (18 month old), and they were able to get me an appointment quickly. My son was not willing to sit in the little car they have, so they sat him in my lap and worked around him while he was moving around. They did a great job considering how much he was moving, and I'm very grateful it was a good experience!
