Peninsula I.D.A Pharmacy

Today we stopped by the Peninsula I.D.A. Pharmacy during the Easter weekend scavenger hunt. The customer service was exceptional, they had everything our family was looking for and more.Highly recommend stopping in for all your pharmacy needs and supporting this local business.

I've dealt with lots of different pharmacy and the one in lions head is the best super friendly helpful staff I have also be in line waiting and got to watch how professional the staff handle rude and difficult customers

Our litlte pharmacy is amazing! The staff are always friendly and helpful and knowledgeable , especially for a senior like me, They make me aware of any savings that might be available and always have a smile, no matter how busy they are Would not want any other pharmacy!

Your website should make it more clear that the pharmacy part of the store is not open Saturday.So people don't waste their time driving there for a prescription.

Really great Pharmacy with excellent staff and customer service. Every staff member is always so polite and are amazing with asking me if I have any questions or need help finding a product. Prescription pick up is also always easy as well.

Peninsula IDA Pharmacy does a great job of caring for our community. It's a busy spot with great staff. We are very fortunate to have such a well run, friendly, hometown pharmacy.

Terrible experience! I have limited mobility so arranged for curbside pickup of my prescription. As required, provided my CC# at the time of the call...not to cover the cost of the prescription, I have insurance, but the exorbitant dispensing fees. I called the store when I arrived, and my CC# was asked for again. I was confused, as they should already have it. It should have been a simple matter of collecting my prescription. I don't carry my card, and was told I could not have my prescription until the fees were paid. I seldom have cash either. I'm so seldom out on my own. It was a huge issue, it was expected that I drive the 20 minutes back home to retrieve my card and the 20 minutes back to the store. All that gas and time! Well, fortunately, I had an email with the CC# in it, and provided the number. The clerk came out about 10 to 15 minutes later and literally slammed the prescription on the front seat of my truck with the snarkiest look I've ever seen. I came home and cried.

My wife is confined to a wheelchair. She likes to do errands to give her some independence. She arranged with Peninsula IDA to do a curbside pick up for a prescription refill. She phoned them before she left our home. She phoned them again when she arrived to let them know she was there. The told her they needed her credit card number for the dispensing fee. She didn't have her credit card with her. Why couldn't they have told her on the first phone call that they needed her credit card number. We live about 20 minutes away! They refused to let her leave with her prescription and call in the number when she got home. They were ignorant with her. When she finally found the number on her phone they came outside and threw the prescription the seat of her truck! WE WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PHARMACY AGAIN!!!! So much for shopping local.

Good little small town pharmacy. Carry limited stock with most needs. Would be better customer service if they were open Saturday’s year round including the pharmacy for prescription pick-ups. Also would be better if it didn’t take so long for prescriptions to be prepared. Staff are friendly and pharmacists are known and helpful.
