This place is amazing. From the food to the drinks to the staff! We had the cottage burger (yes it sounds strange) but I tell you it is incredible. We also had the beef dip and the smoked meat on it was incredible. The key lime daiquiri was the best I have ever had! 100% worth the stop hands down! You will not be disappointed! Our waitress was SO friendly and just an incredibly nice person. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This place is great. I was hesitant to come here due to some bad reviews (most bad reviews come from reviewers with less than 3 total reviews). Came here and ended up liking it a lot. Service was fast and friendly, prices were good, and food was awesome. I had a chicken sandwich and asked for grilled chicken instead of fried chicken, and they were able honor my request. This is one of the best places in Sicamous that I ate at. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Are you kidding? We are just driving thru and we were gonna go to the chinese restaurant next door and heck we are happy we didn’t. We came to G&G kitchen and tap because it’s just next door and thinking okay it’s just another pub food experience. Noooo! First the portion, take a look at the size of the burger. Fantastic snitzel, fantastic fish. If I am travelling to Alberta again I will definitely try to come back here. The lady that was helping us is Extremely friendly and lovely. If this is how everyone is in this town I am moving here.

Unassuming cost place with nice interior deco. Menu has varied options. Ordered a club sandwich - tasted awesome. Diner is tended by several nice ladies.

I ate the pulled pork sandwich. It was nice and juicy with a twist of peanut bit. It was very yummy. I just felt that may be the BBQ sauce was just a little extra.

After giving our food orders and receiving our drinks we DID NOT see the server for 60 mins.. by the time we were about to leave we did get our food. But fries were raw and I couldn't eat more than a few bites of my salad.. we received a SMALL discount, but think we deserved a bit more after that experience. And nothing was offered for our wait time of the entire hour that we had to sit there with our children.. not to mention we were only one of 3 or 4 tables there at the time of 7-8 pm. should not have stayed and waited for the food nor have been charged for the raw fries on top of the salad. I DO NOT ever complain at restaurants since I was a cook for several years myself but that was not worth even stopping and then to get told I was rude for saying something??!!! No thanks.. please next time just tell us that you are too busy to take care of us and not have our children ignored for an hour waiting for their food and we would have gladly been on our way..

Do not listen to the bad reviews!!!!! My boyfriend and I stopped on Saturday the 8th for lunch. Initially we were going to drive right through Sicamous, but there was an accident on Highway 1 east and we had to wait it out. We decided to stop in and we were not disappointed!!! Our server was amazing, the portions were huge! Neither one of us could finish our plates. He ordered the Schnitzel burger and I had the cottage burger. Both tasted amazing. Please stop in and give it a go! We will go back if we are ever back in the area.

This little gem of a place is located right on the hiway at the round about.The log cabin style eatery is very cozy and warm as well as inviting.It was really steadily busy and I now know why.The servers were very helpful, pleasant and understanding.The service was quick, but that did not take away from the flavorful quality of the food.The portions are pretty good and very well priced.There is even a food special as well.I was hungry and left with my belly feeling pleasantly satisfied.All in all, I can say that I will be back there to eat again and this will be my go to place in Sicamous.Give it a try and I pretty sure you will make it your go to place as well.
