Perfect place to stay for an early flight! Basically in the airport which makes for a quick departure. The rooms are neat and clean. Front desk is great about quick check-in and check-out.

Location, staff, food were all great. Proper crib was provided for our youngest daughter with a excellent mattress. My biggest issue was the room temp. We were on the 6 floor and our room was roasting. I tried putting the thermostat on cool and moved the temp down to 61f. Absolutely no change in temperature. It was a sweaty night. So a bit disappointed overall.

Above and beyond. Amazing service for my two young children and myself. Excellent, safe restaurant and food-to-go selections for celiacs. Staff are outstanding.

As others have said, very convenient location to the Halifax airport, and you pay a premium for this. Cost is high for the level of cleanliness or amenities. The towels in our room were falling apart, clearly beyond their useful life. One ‘clean’ (unused) towel had a hair wrapped up in it. Customers should expect better for $374 per night.The place also could not provide a corkscrew so I could open a bottle of wine I purchased elsewhere. Staff made the best of it and I brought the bottle down to the restaurant where it was opened and I was given a couple wine glasses.Remember you’re paying for location if you choose to stay at this hotel.

A fun hotel on the whole, and a perfect location if you're flying out in the morning. Nice high ceilings make rooms feel spacious, but also lots of little scratches and dents.

Great hotel by the airport with easy access no need to go outside unless you being dropped off like I was then it's a quick elevator ride up to the lobby from the ground floor which you can across the ground floor and lobby from the elevator (or stairs around the corner to the right) but you need to tap the room card in order to access your floor. I was asked if I had a preference of being on a higher or upper floor but said no preference and was given a room in the middle on the 6th floor facing the parking garage which is an okay view if you like to see cars parked on a roof. I couldn't figure out the blind situation, but there is a blackout roller shade that goes down at least. Enjoyed the stay nonetheless. Will stay again when I find myself needing a place with easy access to the airport. There is a restaurant but didn't eat there. If you don't want to eat at the restaurant, the airport has some options as well. However, they do have snacks and such you can purchase.

This hotel is attached to the Halifax airport and very convenient if you're tired from a long haul flight. The rooms are small and the shower is visible from the bedroom so I recommend only sharing a room if you're VERY comfortable with someone. The bed is very comfortable and there is a restaurant on site and small 24/7 place to purchase snacks and drinks.I did have to change rooms as the first room provided was covered in dust and the fridge made an annoying sound. The second room provided was much better but the A/C wasn't working but the supervisor came and fixed it immediately.There were a few occasions I went down to the lobby and could find no staff in site and even had to wait 10 minutes to pick up my food that was pre-ordered.Also the power kept randomly going on and off for no reason.I was satisfied with my stay and they allow for late check outs if you have an evening flight.

Great experience during my stay. As others have mentioned, it is a 2-3 mn walk from the airport. My partner and I have stayed here a couple of times when we have to stopover and must leave early in the morning. A little more than other hotels but totally worth. There is an industrial feel to the rooms, but they are neatly designed. At lease for the queen sized rooms it is cool how you can see through to the shower. I’m assuming that this isn’t the option for double rooms. I also had a wonderful welcoming gift upon my arrival. Nothing bad to say about the experience really.

Alt Hotel Halifax is located adjacent to the Halfax International Airport. It's ultra modern following a trend of power conservation and branding of modular design. The look is appealing and fresh and provides ultra comfort to the guest. Upon arriving at the ground floor of the hotel, guests must use the elevator to go up one floor to the lobby area. On this floor there is a trendy restaurant and a bar. The restaurant features the very popular on the go food with prepared food choices that is easily gotten. This hotel is highly recommended.
