Horrible smell of cigarette smoke in this store. Someone is smoking heavily in here. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke and by the time I left there, I had to go home and take medication. I thought it was against the law to smoke in a public place in all of Ontario. I will shop at the Newcastle store from now on.

I needed help selecting the right type of products/paint to fix a “Pinterest fail” of a paint job I did on my foyer. I knew painting over thick black stripes wouldn’t be easy but after calling Abernethy’s, they gave advice on what to do and had everything ready for curb side pick up the following day. Ended up running out of paint just before they closed and they were kind enough to have another can ready for me within 30 minutes. Very happy with their knowledge and patience!

Best place to buy paint Is any Benjamin Moore dealer in a small town, Didn't buy anything here but the staff answered my question on paint matching perfectly, My father was a painter and swore by the Benjamin Moore brand. Great service here.
