Lucky me. Checked in at quality inn and Smittys had a lounge open till 11:00. That gave me 30 minutes to order. Wing night and a huge TV to watch LeBron become most points playing basketball. Ordered the wings salt and pepper. With a small plate of ginger beef. Service was top notch. Friendly and attentive. Ordered a Caesar and it came with bacon. The food arrived hot and perfectly cooked. Crispy wings and crunchy ginger beef. Along with 2 Caesar’s. So good I went for breakfast in the am. Shredded hot hash browns. Ham one egg. Toast and 5 dollar glass of milk. Service was fast .

The waitress was very friendly and the ultimate mozza burger tasted good. There must be inexperienced or lack of management. No way it should take a hour and 40 minutes to get your food after sitting down

Went for breakfast ordered 4 meals one being a kids meal. I only received 3 out of the 4 no one would come talk to me I had to wave to get someone's attention and even after didn't receive my meal. Everyone else was don't eating so I thought forget it I am leaving. After all that they charged me for everything as well. If I could rate it negative stars I would. The worse service I have ever received.

Intended to go out for a nice dining experience. Left frustrated!!Took an hour to get our food. Then when served it was as good as cold. The waitress called the shift manager over to hear our concerns. The food was remade, however at best, received a luke warm meal.I paid full price for the meal, and left frustrated and disappointed.I WON'T EVER BE BACK!!!

Servers are very friendly and approachable, kept apologizing for the lack of service (took almost 20 min to get a coffee refill) however having worked in the industry myself it's easy to see where the problem comes from. The manager/supervisor was not to be seen anywhere on the floor directing the young, and obviously poorly trained, staff (not their fault).I would suggest retraining your leadership team so that they lead by example.I feel bad for the staff as they are the ones that get the angry customers even though they have no support from management.Skillets are very good here though, definitely a must try.

Service was excellent. Food was absolutely awful. And on top of it, I sent the food back for it to be re-made. It came back the same. So much for celebrating a signicant numbered birthday, and I drove 90 min to get to Winkler too. Huge disappointement! Go elsewhere!

The service was great. We were greeted and seated right away. The waitress came back after I ordered my burger without pickles to let me know the sauce was a relish sauce which I really appreciated. My burger was excellent and my wife really enjoyed her quesadilla. However neither of us cared for the beef bolognese soup and should have ordered fries instead. Overall really good and will come back regularly.

I believe the cooks here need a refresher on how to cook poached eggs for Benedicts. After 20 mins of them saying they will replace the eggs that were completely cooked, I get a sorry and an offer for a $10 coupon. But sorry, I went there to eat when I was hungry with my family, not to redeem a coupon on a later date.

I got the crunchy chicken burgerI paid 25$ for thisNow the burger itself was delicious, but the poutine was absolutely patheticI've had a lot of poutine, in my 29 years life, and I've never received a poutine this small. A bag of 1000 fries at the store is 1.99, can of gravy 67 cents, and a huge bag of cheese curds 5$(4 cheese curds maybe 15 cents)I was told at the desk this is a normal portion, so I won't be back, as I can go across the street and get a similar burger and a proper sized poutine for 11$ at aandw

Was there last time for lunch and I can’t complain, our waiter she was very helpful I could see she was trying her best. When I first heard Smitty’s was coming back to winkler I was super glad. this place is also one of them that’s on top of my list, I would recommend it for anyone, their steaks are pretty good (better than I thought at least) definitely going again!!
